How to make tables with rounded corners! (help)

Using framemaker 11 and I can't seem to find a way to get the corners rounded on a table.

The only way is a way to fake and draw a rectangle rounded on the table without borders. I've implemented a program to import this document into another document, but it does not have the rounded rectangle but takes the table. What gives?

So the only methods I see work is to find how 1) corners rounded on a table, 2) have the rectangle 'stick' to the table then when everything is imported when I import the file, 3) create a graph of rectangle rounded out framemaker and import it in?

Help, please

Chris

Rounded corners on the tables is a rare feature. There in no version of FM I've ever used (compared to 9), nor do all the worksheets that I use.

My inclination would be to find an app that does (InDesign maybe?).

Each table export to PDF.

Import in a framework anchored on the FM band.

A normal FM table does not represent an anchored frame. I guess you just draw on the page of the RR. It is not related to the content (a debit). Not only it does not export if you use this document as a source of text box, the RR will remain even with this table if the table to a different page of reflow number other content changes.

You need create a block anchored.

Equip the RR that.

Also put a block of text in the AF.

Set the table in the text frame.

Adjust the RR to hit the table borders.

Draw the rectangle rounded on the picture and fill the rectangle with

  • Cropping with rounded corners

I recently changed my good old ImageReady with Fireworks. What really miss me is cut (crop) a rectangle with corners rounded off an image.

ImageReady had this as a standard option, but in Fireworks I can do only with right corners? Is someone can pls tell me how can I do this? Thank you.

You can't the harvest an anything but rectangular image, because the image files are always rectangular (even with ImageReady). You can use a vector mask to make the corners of an image are transparent or anti-aliasing for a background color (or other underlying images or objects), however.

You can get the effect you want, however.

    (1) add a white rounded rectangle to your document and adjust its size and position you want. (I have will usually set the opacity of an object down to this step and then go back to 100%)

    (2) select the rectangle and your image.

    (3) in the menu, select Modify > mask > Group as mask.

Note that your original image is not changed, the mask only serves as kind of a window frame and can always be cancelled. If you want to crop your image to the visible part, you can use the menu item

Modify > canvas > canvas trim.

You can use any vector shape to create a mask with, including forms of text. A white mask causes underlying object be completely opaque. The areas in black or transparent mask causes the underlying object to be transparent. Gray or partially transparent areas in the mask of cause the underlying object to be relatively transparent.

  • Thumb nail with rounded corners lot.

I would like to create a command script which proportionately reduces an image at 200px wide, rounded corners (25px rad), gives him a blue border and saves it as a transparent png.

I am trying to create a command that ACR be dosed. It seems simple enough. except that I can't figure out how to make a command that will create a rectangle that starts at 0,0 and is at the height and width of the canvas.

    Advice would be appreciated,

  • Rectangle with rounded corners

Someone knows how to set the degree of curvature on the corners of the rectangles, rounded to Illy?  This can be easily done in PS, but I see no option for this in Illustrator.

    Dan,

If you select the rounded rectangle tool and click anywhere on the artboard rather than simply drag, you get options, including Ray.

You can also create a rectangle (normal) and then the effect > esthetics > rounded corners or effect > convert to shape > rounded Rectangle, to get a rounded which remains editable and removable.
