  It's a LOT of unnecessary code. There must be a simple way to do it with CSS, like adding a class for each symbol - but this does not remove the inline style rules.

  You can that imagine how much space is consumed by these text boxes, many of which have more than 10 rows (< p > elements) each.

  Anyone know how to get around this problem?

  Even MORE interesting, is that I could take ALL this unnecessary inline using the waterfall style code for styling all those

  elements, simply by using a generic on their parent elements - works like a charm and the end result is that I cut the file size 88 KB to about 37 KB edge.js, while the associated HTML file went from 60 KB to 10 KB! I just took the pertinent information of ID and class of the HTML page. It seems a little counter-intuitive, but all this text style plain inline slowed the initial load to a significant degree. Be careful when you change something like that compressed, however.

  With Captivate 5.5 (newbie here), I use TTS to the narration of several slides. I want the narratiion be disabled by default and allow users to start. I think that the easiest way is to automatically cut the file and then users can activate the sound it if they want to hear the audio. I use the standard default playback bar skin.

  I found the system variable "cpCmndMute" for the break with the code and created a script that call on the first slide to assign a value of 1 to cut things "cpCmndMute". This certainly muted the audio, but I noticed that it has not affected the mute button in the playback bar, which I will not be changed. A user who would click on the mute button would actuall cut this file (which is already cut off) and you click a 2nd time to activate audio. How can I change the button in the PlayBar? Or better yet, what is a better strategy for this idea?

  Unfortunately the buttons are not tied to the code in a way that seems intuitive.  When you change the cpCmndMute it does not switch the button.  It seems that your options are limited.  I think that there are at least two viable options:

  (1) you could try to tickle the button with the code.  Mainly to find the function that is called by the button and then call the function, rather than change the code variable.  By calling the function of the button event handler, you assign I hope as the variable which is displayed/hidden in time.

  (2) you could create a widget bar reading (or have someone create one for you) and then initialize her with the button MUTE.

  Well, in your sub - VI you need to wire some inputs and outputs of your login Panel.  As I said, a LabVIEW basic skill that you will find in the tutorials.

  You have a number of entries to your Subvi.  The more you do not want to fix on a panel of connectors.  You may need to use a cluster to group them.

Files initially sent to RealPlayer to burn, but when finished burning CD and went to read a CD, folder got seized by Media Player, 'Indexed' and disappeared from the office. I'm a relatively new computer user, and I need to learn more about file paths, how to view the path FULL of a file on my computer and how to type (create) full path when I need to. The "Indexing" feature seems to erase this lesson for me, and after having spent four hours trying to find Vista instructions on "How to move the file from one place to another", I gave up! Windows 'Help and Support' on my computer gives wrong directions. It states that if I right click on a folder > properties, a dialog box opens with a tab by which I can move my account. There is no tab location here. I found locations tab when right click on the "Mobile" folder, but still no option to "move file". No idea what is the folder "Roaming" or why it's on my computer. I want my audio files in the My Music folder, but this place is "access denied." Don't know how to get the audio file it in any case, but if anyone has any advice, I would be very happy! Thank you. PS - I had no problem moving folders in XP. I don't like the idea that a computer is to decide where to put my files. I want to control where I put my files. I don't like the way search works under Vista.
