How to move the Bookmarks button?
I would like to move the button bookmark on the upper left side of the page in firefox. I don't want toolbars as they occupy only screen space.

If the window customize is open then you can drag the button Menu bookmarks at the left end of the toolbar, Navigation or any other position (I have it on the left end of the tab bar).

How can I move the home button between the front and the address bar?
Her that I have my firefox put in place over the years is to place the buttons like this:
[Back] [Front] [Stop/Reload] [Home] [Progress Animation] [Address bar]
Now in FF29 I'm trying to move the home button between BackForward buttons and the address bar and it won't let me.
I thought that FF29 was supposed to be the most customizable Firefox yet? * confused *.
Is there a way to do it, am I missing something? Thank you
"I thought that FF29 was supposed to be the most customizable Firefox yet?
Who told you that was incorrect, as far as I'm concerned. Firefox is more customizable than the 'competition', but not as much as the previous versions were. The home button can be moved, but the back / button drop-down list is set to the address bar - they cannot be separated.
The combo Stop / Reload button is locked in the address bar.
The 'old' activity indicator has disappeared. Deemed unnecessary with the animation of loading on the left corner of each tab, where the favorite icon once the page is completely loaded.https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/KB/how-to-make-new-Firefox-look-like-old-Firefox
Many users install the extension Classic theme restaurateur.
https://addons.Mozilla.org/en-us/Firefox/addon/classicthemerestorer/
But I don't think it will turn out to be along term solution. As users begin to install other extensions, I think they're going to face compatibility issues where the new extension "expects" the user to use what Firefox is come with - not the 'retro' functions -
Because my screen is not that big, I want my bookmark toolbar elements (element for special bookmarks folder) take the entire width, and I want the button Favorites in the navigation toolbar (because I don't need this long url field).
As you modify the toolbars and buttons, I change to what I want, but every time that save and close the window edit the bookmarks (with the drop below) button moves automatically to the bottom of a toolbar. It's very, very annoying, not least because in the edit mode, it's ok (it is also saved correctly).
Any way to overcome this problem? When appears in the toolbar of bookmarks, the Bookmarks button moves automatically in the Navigation toolbar to the toolbar of bookmarks. This is expected behavior. I can't tell you why but, as it makes no sense to me either and I probably find twice as boring as you.
Install the following extension.

How to remove the star next to the bookmark button
After the Firefox, update 29 and later, there is a button "Star" next to the button "bookmark". It's annoying when I try to open my favorites, accidentally, click on 'star' and bookmark the current page. Customize does not work because these 2 buttons are attached to each other and can not just remove the 'star '.
Is there a way to remove the 'star' beside the button "Show Favorites"?
The bookmarks Menu button is actually the marker of the fall of the combined Star (bookmark this Page) and view all the Bookmarks button.
Add code to the file userChrome.css below default @namespace.
@namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul"); /* only needed once */ #bookmarks-menu-button toolbarbutton { visibility:collapse !important; }
The file userChrome.css (UI) customization and userContent.css (Web sites) are located in the folder of chrome in the Firefox profile folder.
You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder currently in use:

Can W7 \64 bit\FF42.0\How I move the profiles?
Everything seems to work perfectly. But I realized that I should be able to find how to move my profile to another drive on my computer somewhere in the profile itself. I've looked everywhere I can think of and can't find this info. If you can tell me where it is, maybe I can manage. But if not, can you tell me how to move the profiles? My os is Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. I am running Firefox 42.0. Your guesses are all correct, except that I'm not sure about the plugin from Adobe. Thanks for any help.
You can use the Profile Manager to create a new profile on a different hard drive folder by clicking on the button "choose a folder.
Be sure to select a new empty file and not a folder that already contains files. You can transfer files from the current profile folder to this folder.

How do you the bookmarks and history buttrons open boxes in Firefox 33?
How I make the bookmarks and history buttons open their respective boxes instead of having to use the submenu stupid button on the sidebar?
Apparently, the Restorer of classic theme worked for Firefox 29, but it does not work for 33:
https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/questions/991080There are two sets of buttons of toolbar tools for history and bookmarks in the palette to customize with the CTR extension installed. You need those without drop marker to open the sidebar.

I have a number of folders in the bookmarks, and I frequently change it by clicking on "Show all bookmarks" and by opening a library.
Earlier, after you click the Bookmarks button, "show all bookmarks" appeared on the top of the list, and now he's down.
Please, add a double-tap on the Bookmarks button function so that it opens the window of the library directly. You can ask for a bug to get this feature if nobody has already done it. But change will have been carefully studied, and it is unlikely to be reversed.
What you could also do, is add a comment with your feedback
If you want to return to a mote of style like Firefox 28 or e = earlier consider using addons

How to remove the download button located next to my home button?
You can use customization feature to move it to a less irritating location. I suggest the bar the module if you keep this poster.
Start customizing with one of these, and then drag the arrow to a new location, or in the dialog box to remove all the bars:
- Right click on a zone empty of the tab bar > customize
- Press the Alt key > menu view > toolbars > customize
You will notice that some combined controls separate in the view to customize. If you put something between them, they will not be able to recombine. (For example, if you separate stop and reload or put something between front/rear and area URL.)
