How to negotiate in Windows 8 for Windows 7?

I bought a new laptop and at the same time bought computer Windows 8.  This is a nightmare and I really need a working computer.  Is not only the email limited in what I can have up to at the same time, I can not find how to do things I used to do it in just a few clicks.  I am an author/editor of technology and I spend so much time looking for buttons or drop-down lists that I can't get anything done quickly.  Word is bad, but e-mail and structure screen is terrible.  Also the email keeps blocking to top everything I send attachments.  I can receive but can't send.  Dell support has been great for helping solve the problems over and over again, even when it's not a problem of Dell, but rather a problem of software of MS, but MS tech support has no value.

I want to get rid of Windows 8 and return to Windows 7 on my new laptop.  Is there some kind of warranty on this piece of junk software?

Rachel

Simplistic: You do not have.

Details:

Only on Windows 8/8.1 PRO comes with the "downgrade rights" and unless you already have a legitimate copy of Windows 7 Professional license lying to the subject - you need to buy something to supplement this methodology too.

So in the end - if you want to replace Windows 8/8.1 with Windows 7, you will buy a copy of Windows 7 (OEM is everything you will find now) and install it from zero yourself.  You better be sure that the manufacturer of the supra system supports Windows 7 first well: drivers for hardware devices for card mother/chipset, video card, sound card, card (s) network and all the other things that came with it or you connect (webcams, printers, scanners, etc.)

Microsoft Office Word has nothing to do with Windows 8/8.1 vs Windows 7.  Obviously, you have changed to a newer version of what you may have been used in this way?  Microsoft Office 2007 has introduced the system of 'Ribbon' top - 2010 had updated minor of that same system - 2013 went virtually colorless, but kept most of the things Ribbon.  (365/2013 - practically the same thing.)

Dell was not obliged to put Windows 8/8.1 on it and they still sell a lot of Windows 7 systems.

In any case, I would suggest some reading of this discussion )<-- linked,="" at="" least="" the="" first="" post)="" and="" see="" if="" you="" cannot="" 'modify'="" windows="" 8.1="" in="" such="" a="" manner="" that="" it="" becomes="" more="" familiar="" (windows="" 7-like="" is="" possible)="" to="">

If you use Microsoft Office 2013 - this discussion will help quite well. ;-)  Maybe this could:

How to use transfer windows for xp to xp.  When I plug usb computers are delivered to the top with the same screen and when I try to use the transfer to the new computer, it just said information gathering and sits for hours

    Hello, welcome.

The process is automatic and the maximum transfer rate should be about 20 GB/HR. If the process crashes during that long of a time, it's probably because of something internal rather something you're doing wrong.
For reference purposes, I included this link. It goes into the details of the migration from XP to Vista (and the basic steps you follow). The instructions are for migrating to Vista via the network, but you can easily follow the steps and choose a different option for your specific installation.
For both machines, I recommend you to prepare for the transfer using the following procedure:
    1. click on START > run
2 type "msconfig" (without the quotes) and press enter
    3. go to the "Startup" tab and uncheck all the entries displayed
    4. click on 'Apply' at the bottom right
DO NOT RESTART YOUR COMPUTER AGAIN
    5. click on START > run
    6. Type "cmd" (without the quotes). Right-click on the result at the top of the menu START and select 'run as administrator '.
    7. type chkdsk /r and press enter
8 allow the system to attempt disassembly of the volume
    9. allow the system to plan restarting
    10. restart your computer
11 let checkdisk analyze the file system on your hard drive
    12. Once completed, perform the same steps on the other machine
    13. Once completed, repeat the transfer

Where is Snipping Tool? If deleted accidentally, how can I get a copy for Windows Vista?

    Hello Bob w. NY

Click on the Start button and type capture in the search box menu star. The cutting tool application should appear at the top of the search results.

As the cutting tool is an integral part of Windows, you might have to reinstall windows to return to the tool. Assuming, of course, you had accidentally deleted.

  • How can I get a driver for printer Canon I455 (my windows vista 32)

How can I get a driver for printer Canon I455 (my windows vista 32)

You can get this support from Canon... If they chose to take over the device in the given operating system.

Looking at the Website of Canon's Support for this printer and select your operating system, they * sentence * support with your particular operating system.

"This software is a module that extends the functionality of the printer driver for Canon inkjet printers. Your printer must be installed through Microsoft Update before you download and use this module. »

So, basically install you by choosing to look on the Microsoft Update site when you try to install the driver.  It will download one Cannon gave to Microsoft after the release of Windows Vista.  Then, you restart and download the other file (on-site support) to give you more features.
