How to open a folder in a new window WITHOUT holding the command key?

Hello

Anyone know of any software that will allow to the files opening in the new, additional , withwindowsout holding the command key?

I always use snow leopard (even if my Mac Pro Tower is perfectly executed El Capitan) because since 1993 , I double-clicked on files to open them in additional Windows. Then, when next door, it's easy to move things from one window to the other. And it's nice to scroll using the command-tilde.

I don't want to hold the command key whenever I double click on a folder.

Help, please.  I don't want to start using El Capitan in one day.

Thank you very much!!

  • How to open a URL in a new window?

I published Captivate 4 training in Flash/HTML and put it on the server. I have several links to various websites within the formation, but they open in the same window of my Captivate training. When I hit the back button, I start at the beginning of my training instead of here where I left. Is there a setting somewhere in Captivate that I don't see or I have to use the Flash to get the URL to open a new window?

    Thanks in advance,

    Hello

Look to the right of the where you type the URL. You should see a button with an arrow down there. Until it clicks. Choose new!

Now, I'll get out my crystal ball and answer the following question with that you will come back to this message. Wow, a twofer!

Once you do that the links will open in a new window. Dandy! But your next question will ask how to make so that the project is progressing until you return are ready. Because you are unable to watch the pretty new window (or tab) the Captivate has continued to play.

You need to click this button a second time. Then uncheck the option "continue the project play!

I remember, but by mistake, it seems, that "in ancient times", there is an option to open a tab in a new window. I can't find this option and I can't find such a topic in the forum so far. It is a very useful option. I use beta FF28 on a 64-bit W7Pro computer and with tab modules: tab history, mix label more and avoid the endless tab.

Hello MikeZgb2012, you can drag the tab of the tab bar to make it open in a new window.

Running the latest version of FF (24.0) on Windows 7 x 64. While several browser windows are open if a link in the current window opens in a new window the active window moves behind one or more of the other windows instead of being originally only the new window that opens on top of it. What I should pay for it?

    var url:URLRequest = new URLRequest("http://www.adobe.com"); navigateToURL(url, "_blank");

    getURL/navigateToURL
This method uses the getURL (ActionScript 2.0) or navigateToURL (ActionScript 3.0) command to create a new browser window by targeting a new, blank window. This method is simple, works on all browsers, and requires no JavaScript. This method, however, it does not provide control over window location, size, scrollbars, or toolbars.
