How to print a legal size document

Original title - print legal size

When I open my document it shows 8.5 x 14 legal size and you can see the entire document when it goes to preview before printing, it shows only 8.5 by 11 output and printing it fell 3 inches above the bottom... Never had this problem on my old computer... only on my new computer Windows 8.  Any suggestions?

Hi Kathleenp,

Could answer you a few questions:

1. what applications do you use to open documents?

2. what format of documents files are those that you want to print?

3. What is the serial number and model of the printer?

I suggest you to check the settings page for the document. You can also go through the manual of the printer and change the printing preferences. You can check the following things in the printing preferences.

Orientation of the page or page layout

Paper, or sheet size

Output or paper source

Let us know the results.

The Council is essentially the same, although because of the differences in the operating system, the details of how the 'preferences' are handled and presented are indeed different.

I am very pleased that it's done.

  • How to print on legal size paper

I am getting very frustrated. I'm trying to print on legal size paper in Tray 1. The display keeps saying out of paper?

IM assuming that it is in what concerns the 8600 JO? You did to be sure to set the tray for legal paper? The paper tray are in place. If you open the drawer there is a blue button. This blue button-press and hold the status bar on one of the rails. This lengthens the tray to allow legal communication and always leave the tray to be in place.

If the directions are not clear, let me know and I'll try and get you pictures of what I mean.

    Thank you

I have a Lexmark 2600 3 in one printer. I format letter scann in the dish, but I can't scan legan size because when I try to change the paper size I can't.  Change it.

If you do not have a scanner that is physically large enough to accommodate a legal document, you can't. In all cases, you must check with Lexmark. It is not a Microsoft product.

  • COPY a legal-size document

How to make a copy of a document on the HP Officejet 4500 Wireless printer legal size.  I can print a legal size document, but not to copy a.  Thank you.

    Hey Bmck.

You should be able to configure the 4500 for legal copy by pressing first the arrow left or right until you see 'Copy B & W' black and white; or "Color copy" to get copies of color. Then, press ok to select the copy settings. Press the left arrow or right until you find "The paper copy" and press ok. Here you can choose the size of your copy paper. Select "legal: for y our legal size document.» Now you should be able to press the Go button to scan your legal document.

    I hope this helps!

  • Project office 8500 - legal size documents

When sending the legal documents to the printer or even copy legal documents on the printer must always choose the legal size.  is there a way that the printer will choose the correct size based on the analysis to the document before printing the copy?  Also if legal print and we chose legal paper if legal status bar is out of paper the printer automatically will continue to copy, but in-tray rather than stop best impression and let us fill the legal bac.

    Hello

Unfortunately not, the printer will not choose the paper size according to the size of scanning.  Yes, you are right, the printer to extract automatically from Tray 1 when tiroir2 is exhausted.  I might suggest all the bins with the legal size of loading during the printing/scanning large runs of legal-size documents.

  • How to print on legal paper with my Officejet Pro 8600?

I have an Officejet Pro 8600.  It has a single paper tray that will not grow to hold legal size paper.  I could stuff a few sheets of legal size paper in the tray and close it, but the printer will print only top 11 "of the page.  What can I do to be able to print the full 14 "?

    Hello

In my view, it will be. Remove all the paper and pull on the status bar, you can see in the lower part (part blue/cyan) which allows you to extend the status bar to accommodate legal size documents.

    Kind regards.

I have several pages to scan in separate pdf files and they are all written in pencil, so I can't use the charger.  I accidentally stumbled a bit through power at first and now it is dirty and the creation of lines and streaks on all my scans that are powered by the intermediary.

I figured out out. When you use the software, there is a small box with a sign to the left of the screen that allowed me to add pages.
