  I have not heard issues with the Mac except that their leader has problems with Flash, although I have not really well tuned for Mac issues in any case.

  If the files that were sent included the html file, the person who sent you to should be able to view it in safari or another browser has the machine.  If this person is using an iPad or an iPhone, it is out of luck because of her choice of material.

  I have two sovereign wealth funds, when clicking on the swf first goes to the second file and clicking on a button in the second file goes back to the first file.

  If you have Flash, then having Flash publish an html page to your file and then copy / paste the code for this file in your html page.  If you do not have Flash, try to use swfobject to embed the swf file in your html page.  Here is a link to get and to explain...

  I created a magnificent site to the catalyst. My problem is: I don't know a code to change the size of the swf file created in catalyst.

  The swf file is now 800 x 600, but I want it automatically adapts the browser.

  I already have a swf in Flash Professional CS5, and then import it into Dreamweaver and change to 800 x 600 and 100% x 100%.

  Works fine, but when I do the same with my swf created in Catalyst, is not.

  Hi Matiege,

  What version of CF are you using? The latest version of CF, called 'Panini', supports the constraints, you can run the project, resize the browser and all objects that use constraints will be aligned correctly. Layout object constraints are specified with the so-called "vacuum" when the object is selected. There are also a few options if you right-click on the suction cup. The "Panini" is available for download on http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/flashcatalyst_panini/.

  The old version of the CF supports only the absolute coordinates.

• Simple question: how to export a SWF file?

  Hi, I am quite new to Flex and Flash Builder (having more than ten years of Flash experience tho), I'm on a fast track to learning, and I'm generally unclear as to how to use FB to post projects (in Flash, it's very simple).

  I'm working on my first FB project for a client, and the situation is somewhat unique: I created a new project, however, it is not necessary for the MXML file in this situation, because we have an application server that uses just the product SWF in a Flex remote setting much larger side.  So when I do updates in the local project, I want to just export a new SWF to compile ActionScript class files I created and then upload the SWF file to the remote server for the test.

  Yet, when I try just to launch the project locally (to export a new SWF file), I get errors that I assume are due to inappropriate use of the MXML file (which is usually empty), and it is not relevant the rest ActionScript files (and I did not need to be).

  I have examples of other related projects that have no file MXML at all, when I tried to remove the MXML file, I get an error that says simply: "the file cannot be launched.  And in fact, when I moved the file MXML back, I now get the same error.  It's really hard to know what is happening here.

  I thought about primary control AS file in the Application 'default', but the menu for that option is not allowing me to (grayed out).

  Can someone help me understand what to do here?

  When project-> build automatically is enabled, whenever you make a change to a file that is used by your main Application AS file somehow, the output SWF will be built in the bin-debug folder.

  When project you-> export of output, a quality version of the SWF file will be generated in the bin-release folder.

  I see sites like SlideRocket, Empressr, Joanieand SproutBuilder all generating a SWF file as their output. These sites are built in Flex, so I wondered how they create their sovereign wealth funds. Is any kind of a class library AS available to do this? Other third party components? I would like to build a widget-maker specializing in Flex, to produce a SWF file, but for now not sure how to do this.

  You can use Adobe LiveCycle, which can create funds rulers of java, ActionScript is really powerful, and costs much $. Or create a service on the server that accepts the parameters and other artifacts, creates a compilable MXML file with data, and then compiles a swf with all content referenced or embedded. You might consider building an AIR application that runs on the user's computer and allows them to compile locally as well, but in both cases, you will need to call the compiler as an external process, to build your swf and create a wrapper html for the player. It is not trivial and you will mainly use the application to allow others without programming skills to build the FLEX program without knowing how to code.

  There are some who would like to see the FLEX PLAYER become its own compilation environment as well as the execution so that you could produce MXML in the drive or loaded from an external source, compile it, and then play or a SWF output. I'm not in favor of what they had too many problems with memory and the environment. Separate the PLAYER from the compiler and things will be simpler.

  It would be a cool app and obviously there are companies that do this, but your business model should dictate that you decide to take, not the technology of management.

  I conclude this thread for people who seek a way preload external SWF files. However, please note that I started a new thread to unload the file again on a mouse event... so even if it's not completely final it will start the process of an external SWF preloading... Hope this helps someone.

  Export uses the quality that you define in the publication settings. Go in there and change the events and audio stream to use Raw, 44 KHz, 16 bit stereo.

  The lack of synchronization is because the file is too demanding play, you can use Adobe Media Encoder to produce a MP4 (H.264 video, AAC audio) version that will play well. Try using 8 Mbit/s for the flow of the video.

  Something that you can do to improve the quality of the image is to add this line to frame 1 of the script:

  internship. Quality = "best";
