  Try the following.

  Download IDT Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

  One time finished, open windows control panel, open Device Manager and open sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the IDT device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

  Then, download and reinstall the Chipset driver on the following link.

  Chipset Driver - Windows 8.

  After reinstalling, restart the laptop and let Windows load completely.  Open your download folder, right-click on the IDT Installer and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  When this has completed, restart the computer again before checking if the Beats Audio is now listed in the windows control panel.

  I had some problems with my windows on my laptop so I decided to re - install the windows. I have the DVD of my system recovery. So I used it to recover my system. Now the problem is, I had divided my hard drive to 5 partitions. 'C' was where windows is installed, "D" is repeated, 'E' is HP-Tools 'G' was my files and 'H' was my other stuff such as games. After that I recovered my system my data all had disappeared, my scores have disappeared. My other two spaces (G & H) disappeared and evrything I had in these 2 areas has been removed.

  My Question is: How can I just re - install the windows without erasing my other partitions? I mean how can I re - install the windows which is found only on drive "C"? I didn't format my hard drive that I wanted to just format drvie 'C' and re - install the windows there.
