It is not a Vista problem from your description. It looks like a driver problem devixe, some missing software or firmware that is necessary to make the camera to recognize blu ray discs, or a problem with the devicce himself. You have another computer, you can connect to see if you can get it to work on this computer (or you can connect directly to your TV if it is an option). If Yes, we know devixe works and it is something on the laptop that is at the origin of the problem. Have you confirmed that this device is compatible with your version of Vista in the http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-vista/default.aspxVista Compatibility Center?

Another problem can be the software you use to play the movie - it cannot recognize or be able or read blu ray discs (or it can be so slow that you give before there actually loading times as I read that some may take a matter of several minutes before start). What software you are using (name and version)?

Have you tried to contact the Helpdesk of brush head to see if they can help? Because it's brand new, they should be happy to help you set up and work with you to resolve the problem with it being unable to recognize blu ray discs. They met perhaps this situaton several times and have a solution easy availalble. If the above does not work I give them a call and help you get them. Again, I know not what provider, you must contact (but it it came with the machine, I think you deal with HP and what I read there is no solution available yet but things may have changed since that was sent)- but try both of them (one is bound to be willing and able to help you).

PowerDVD will not integrate with WMC (assuming that you have a BD - Rom drive installed). You may have more luck with WinDVD 9 which integrates with Media Center.

How to burn a Blu - ray export Blu - ray to hard drive?

I have about a two-hour project that is 21 GB as a blu - ray export drive to the hard drive (I chose not to export to my burner blu - ray, thinking that it would be faster and the desire to burn it later if I wanted to). Now, I have the 21 GB exported to a file .img file, but I have no idea how burn it. Compressor does not open the file and no "burn" which does no DVDs anyway. Just to clarify, then export the project on Blu - ray, I chose HDD as my output over my blu - ray burner, who was also an option. Any help would save me probably 6 hours or re-export and would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Paul

If you are using El Capitan: control - click on the image file in the Finder, choose burn.

For previous versions of OS, open with disk utility and click on the burn button.

Feel like I am back in the age of darkness of the DVD here... but I'm having a lot of inconveniences to blu ray works.

However, I wanted to try a 3d one and bought Resident Evil Afterlife 3d...

3D games, when I want that, 'other' the blu ray play... but that just is the "corel windvd" message and does nothing. The drive starts in 2d, but I don't buy it for this that I have? The parameters for the screen of the computer with Nvidia 3D vision. 3D vision enabled of course.

When I enter the DVD inside and try to read it with WinDVD BD for Toshiba, I get a RED SCREEN that show:

How to set the Blu Ray format 4:3

Could someone provide the parameters of my Sony Blu Ray player so a 4:3 DVD aspect ratio will show on TV with sidebars, so he's not nervous? I tried to change the settings for configuration/Screen on TV and Blu Ray, but he remains tense.
