  Open the app store, swipe the charm bar (it's from the right edge, in case you didn't know), touch ' search ', ' type 'kindle', touch "search", and the first enumerated application must be the official kindle app.

  It is not possible.  It says on each purchase page in the ibookstore what to read a book, and you will not find here of Kobo.   You must purchase your Kobo tips this ereader.   Is there an app to read stuff from Kobo on your Mac (but no application to read stuff from apple on other types of machines).

  I read a bunch of discussions on trying to delete apps and books from iTunes (where books used to be), and the responses dealing with the last iTunes and iBooks basically say the same thing: can't delete anything. At least, you can't delete the old sense of deleting the file completely. Now when you 'delete' something, you're really just hide the view.

  I just tried to remove a book from the last iBooks (in El Capitan on my iMac) and the fine print in the dialog box has said very clearly that I take away the book of view, but it would still be redownloadable of the cloud. (I hope that cloud of it's Apple, not mine.) I want to manage what is in my cloud, and I don't want that it is cluttered with things that I "deleted".)

  In theory, I don't see Apple. You can just save space on a device, but be able to find the book later. But this isn't the case with me. When I delete something, I want to TAKE forever. Case in point, the book that I just deleted was one in iOS 8.3. Why I ever would want to get that now that I am using iOS 9?

  Apple seriously needs to rethink its approach to this issue. Maybe needing a second choice to confirm if you're trying to hide something or remove the cloud, or really, really want you permanently gone. But Apple is not choice. Never ever going to be I guess.

How dbx files be read?  I have OE files and now find there is no apparent way to read.  I downloaded ParetoLogic but hesitate to run it.  The message says it will make changes to my computer.  What happens if the files are made completely unreadable!  I ran the scan function and several "pilots" were listed as obsolete.  Can it be good?  I just bought the latest and greatest computer!

  You need import dbx files into your e-mail without a name client. Win7 doesn't have a native email program of its own.

  Transfer of data from Outlook Express and Windows Live Mail:

  For messages:

  Copy the * ENTIRE * OE message store folder to a flash drive. (Folders.dbx must be included). Place it on the desktop or another location on the computer using WLMail. Open WLMail and: file | Import | Messages | Microsoft Outlook Express 6, and the point where it was saved.

  Location of OE message store:

  In OE: Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

  In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

  For addresses:

  Open the address book in OE and file | Export | Address book (wab) and save it to the desktop. Copy it to a flash drive. Place it on the desktop or another location on the computer using WLMail.

  Open the Contacts list in WLMail, (go |) Contacts in the Menu bar) and the file | Import | Address book (wab) Windows and the point where you saved it.

  Note: If you use a CD or a DVD instead of a flash drive, after placing on the new machine you must remove the read-only attribute in the properties before you import.

  The enumeration returned by contactList.items (BlackBerryContactList.SEARCH_GROUPS) contains BlackBerryContactGroup objects. Using this object you can get each Member as a Contact by calling BlackBerryContactGroup.getContact (int index).

  Hello!

  Notepad.dat is a Table of Allocation of the data file that can be displayed only "regularity" of the Palm Desktop application for PC.  Install Palm Desktop version 4 of your Tungsten T3 CD and do the same user.  You will then need to this notepad.dat file in the directory of your user name, traditionally found in the registry:

  C:/Program Files / palmone / "username" / Notepad.

  Once your there, delete the existing notepad.dat there and then copy/paste your sustained here notepad.dat.  Then, open the Palm Desktop application to see if the notebook entries are here.

  To emphasize the point that current versions of Palm Desktop on our website have not the ability to view the notebook entries hence the need to use one on your Tungsten T3 CD to a PC.  Hope this works for you.

  Before the update, there are two options for reading audio books: remember the playback position and jump when brewing.  (to find these, select Get info on the audio book and choose the tab options).

  In the new update, these two check boxes have been removed. I hope that the answer is because there is little (or not) users who wouldn't never want these options, and the developers of iTunes just hardcoded these options in the metadata file.

  So what is the reason for their removal? If the options are always available at the place where have they been moved?

  I see these options, but cannot change them and the media type is set to Audiobook. Setting Media type for music and applying, then find the article, options and change the type of media to Audiobook works but is a bit lengthy. Use iTunes Feedback or Apple Bug Reporter to Apple let know.

  of course, it's another format darn owner, so you will need a copy of Windows media player for mac.  (or VLC) there is a way to convert, however, but I suspect it will not free
