  I understand now, my apologies.  I don't see a way to do this.  Here is a workaround: you can create multiple groups to handle this.  If you have a lot of people, it would take time.  You might call groups something like less-tom, jeff-less, minus-bob, etc..  If Tom send you an sms, transfer it to the less-tom group because this list would have all your buddies except tom.

  If Jeff sends you an sms, forward to the minus-jeff group, etc...

  And you need to transfer all the numbers from your SIM card to your BlackBerry address book, too.
