How to record streaming audio/vedio as window 7 OS?

as in Windows xp with firefox 3.6, I have flashgot that works like on the recorder to the line of all the content (audio/video). Please suggest

If you have upgraded to a newer version of Firefox, you must update your module too. An add-on compatible that works with the new version.

Download and install the latest version of your program (Flashget). This should do the trick. (Requires that your software company has produced a new version that is compatible with new versions of Firefox)

You can also download and install "Internet Download Manager" the most recent version. It is compatible with all versions of Firefox until now and its extension allows you to download the video/audio stream.

If this helped don't forget to hit "Resolved" for the topic would be closed.

    Hi jibberz

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers Forum!

Unfortunately, several audio output is not a supported feature in Windows 7.  You may, however, check with the manufacturer of material for possible programs for that purpose.

  • records streaming audio issues

Can please indicate why the streaming audio on my laptop are of poor quality - with weakness, its thin and hail - any recording software I use? I tried Audacity, Free Hi-Q Recorder and others, and the result is the same (with Audacity, I have "Stereo mix" selected as my source audio, such as recommended). (NB: my old laptop Vaio with Win XP record audio streams perfectly, using the same recording software.) My laptop current is: Sony Vaio VGN-FW45G o/s: Windows Vista Home Premium 64 - bit sound card: Realtek High Definition Audio Driver Version: 6.0.1.5759 Driver Date: 17/12/2008 (Windows support advises it is the best driver available)

    Hi Franklinde Mesa,

The problem is the absence of card its drivers and updated the same should solve the problem. I suggest you to update the sound card drivers by visiting the official website of Realtek. Download and install the latest drivers for Windows Vista and check if this solves the problem.

  • Record streaming audio / Windows 7

My Dell is not equipped with the function of "stereo mix". I tried everything, search driver for graphic software its right click-> recorders-> do a right click on an empty space-> checking both "show disabled devices" and "show disconnected devices." The stereo mix option remains elusive. I also did the ' MMSYS. CPL' dance in the start menu. What Miss me?

The notice said that your sound device inside the computer is capable of this?  It is very rare, so I doubt that you can do in the driver.  You will need to find a software that will allow it, or use a loopback cable.

I again L30 with vista. I would like to record audio streaming, but programs (Total Recorder and CDex 1.70 etc..) I used on my old XP desktop don't work. They cannot 'see' the audio source. I wish I had advice or a pointer to a web good tutorial on audio and sound cards.

    Hi Rob

I have no much experience with Vista yet, but maybe you should just check if there is a compatible Vista version of these programs. You need to just find some programs designed for Vista and install.

Please note that Vista is a completely new platform and it is logical that the applications of Windows XP Home Edition cannot or is not working properly.

  • Satellite M105-S3084: is not possible to record streaming audio on the web

I have a laptop M105-S3084 Satellite with XP MCE SP2. The sound card seems to be something called "Realtek High Definition Audio" on a bus to internal. The driver is 5.10.0.5200 dated dated 09/12/2005.

This sound card and driver seems not to have what is necessary to allow me to record audio streaming on the web.

I've been on audio NoticiasLA and determined that although with as SoundBlaster sound cards can save essentially anything that can be produced by PC speakers, this is not the case with the map I have in the Toshiba Satellite.

For example, only flow for record in software like Audacity and others are 'Mic' and 'Line' all that is available with other cards is several other inputs (Audio mix, etc.) that the software allows to record the sound from the web browser.

Other than to get another PC or sound card, is there a way to improve the capabilities of its Realtek High Definition Audio card? Others were able to achieve sound web using this sound card?

    Thank you.

    Hello

    I use two programs to record the sound from the internet sites;
The first is wave-recorder and the second Messer.
These two applications allow you to record from wave and convert and save files in MP3 format.
You can choose the source of the record; the external microphone or wave.

Check it out. In my case it works and I m very happy

  • How to record streaming RTP of Wireshark and play using an application called Audacity

I use dto this regularly a few years ago and used to know all the steps to get the stream RTP of Wireshark and then save to a file and then play using an application called Audacity.

In my opinion, were the steps that I used to do:

1 Wireshark - put in place since a file display server to display only the RTP.

2 then in Wireshark---> statistical sub---> Show all streams---> and analyze---> then save payload as 'gross' or ' to the ' can't remember - forward / reverse / both

3 then play the file using Audacity.

I am clearly stating what I need.

Now when I do the above I can not read the file with Audacity.

    Audacity says:

Audacity did not recognize the file type. If it is not compressed, try to import using "Import Raw".

We must continue to use them to remember the steps.

    Any help much appreciated.

If the RTP stream uses G.711, you can directly use the audio player of wireshark:

-in Wireshark - telephony - Voip calls

-Select a call - then click the reader button

    -Click the Decode button

-Select one or more streams of data and so click on Play

You can also use RTP analyze tool to record audio in .au format and play with Audacity.

If you prefer to save the file in .raw format, you can open Audacity and import the file in raw mode and specify the codic law for g.711A so or u - Law codec encoding G.711u and therefore equal to 8000 Hz sampling frequency.

    Kind regards.

  • How to record TV with Media Center (Windows 7) to a network drive?

Well, you would think that the new MediaCenter Windows 7 would live up to the recording of your TV for a network/player sharing. Nevermind, it seems that it is just not possible.

I have a windows 2008 R2 server and a Windows 7 machine with a TV card. Since my server has 2 TB of storage, it would be nice to save directly to a network drive. (I rode like Z :).

    I tried the following:

    1. By selecting Media Center itself: does not. Is not available.
    2. Editing the registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Media Center\Service\Recording to RecordPath Z:\TV. Does not.
    3. Editing the registry: set RecordPath to \\server\TV. Does not.
    4. Create a symbolic link (mklink \D) of Z:\TV and \\server\TV with parameter in the registry under RecordPath.

I am currently out of options. I could of course install Windows7 on my server, but I have no license for this, and my windows 2008 r2 is free from dreamspark.

So: How is the world possible to make this work? And why not just MediaCenter detects my network sharing?

Record on the network is not supported.  The smallest hiccup of network could cause problems with registration, or even TV live as the recording buffer would be located at the remote location.

One thing you can do is to use Windows Home Server Power Pack 3 and its function of archive TV which you can configure to automatically move all your records or only those you want.
  • NB200 - how to integrate the audio drivers for Windows XP Home edition?

Can you give me an idea for my Toshiba NB200 guy.

I use nlite and don't create addons for my realtek (audiodriver) but it no chance that the installation is not successful.

Toshiba has a software to create an audio driver windows xp built-in?

    Thanks in advance...

Toshiba does not provide any software to integrate the drivers, but Toshiba provided software to create the own recovery disk (or recovery media)
The creator called pre-installed software Toshiba Recovery Media (disk beginning) created the recovery disc to install the image of Toshiba.

But this software was available on laptops with preinstalled system. He of not ready for download.

However, I used nLite repeatedly in the past and never had serious problems to add additional drivers to my Win XP system.
I have created my new installation disc and added all Win XP Service Packs.

original title: Audio for windows XP software

I must have accidentally uninstalled the program that runs the audio on my computer during the uninstallation of an another grosgrain. What should I do? I have absolutely no audio now! Is it possible I could still be on my computer somewhere? Is there a program I can dpwnload?

I did this for your hardware in particular, from the Microsoft Update Catalog. Otherwise, he would never install them for you.

The download link, then unzip it into a folder.

Open Device Manager and right-click on this point, identical to the front. Choose update driver software.

Browse my computer. Let me repeat. Have the disk. Browse.

Find and double click on STWRT.inf in the extracted folder. Click ok then next and it will install.

  • How to record the keyboard shortcuts in Windows

I'm capturing function for a computer course keys by creating a simulation and assessment. I can't simulate arrow keys and the keys like F5. It does not work when I try using IE but seems to work in Firefox. Haven't tried Chrome.

    Advice please? Thanks in advance!

Trying to simulate the use of keyboard shortcuts, including function keys, is almost always an exercise in futility.  Your end user's web browser gets dibs on the F keys as well as any other key combination that sometimes you want to reserve for its own use.  No matter what you do, you cannot override it with what you do in the Captivate content.

  • How to record what is happening by the sound card without using the microphone to avoid loss of quality.

I tried, but there is no "Stereo mix" available options. There is only the (Conexant High Definition Audio) Microphone. It did not work. What I'll do is to buy a DVD for TV (tv Record program) burner and plug the hdmi cable from my computer to the DVD recorder and record what I want. After that, I just rip the audio from the file. I see no other option to do. I use windows vista Home premium.

I would like to know how I can record the sound that is played by the soundcard using Vista without using the microphone as a source. Let's say the audio is played (audio stream) and I want to record this stream. There are many software that we can download that record what is happening in the microphone. The sound bounces off the speakers to the microphone. But when this happens, you lose a lot of the quality of the audio. So my question is if it is possible to record what is happening to the right of the sound card, before being sent to the sound card in order to avoid the loss of audio quality.

  • Qosmio F10: How to record audio and video and use QosmioPlayer

I am owner of a Qosmio F10-122 with TV tuner and I really need HELP. I'm Italian.

    The questions are:
1 QosmioPlayer version 4.0.1 (2005022812) (according to the procedure of the forum) has installed fine but the sensitivity is poor; in any case the question is: is is possible to record videos? Also is it possible to record audio?

2 input and video output are stupid; I can see Windows and QosmioTV on HDTV via DVI/SCART but I can't input in MCE TV or QosmioPlayer any signal IN Composite; so the question is once again how can record AUDIO from my Home stereo or VCR VHS VIDEO?

    3. I only use VIDEO IN to WATCH is not to save: where is my fault?

    Thanks, Marco

    Hello Marco

I did some testing and I can tell you about my experience on Qosmio G20.

    1. as far as I know early versions of Qosmioplayer did not have the registration option but now I hope that your preinstalled version has REC option. If so, please be sure that you have about 5 GB of free space for the recorded material.

It is not important what signal is sent to your Qosmio (TV or VCR VHS-connected) you can find it if you look at the channels. With REC option, you can save what you want. I tested it with my VCR VHS and I recorded some old movies. This material was recorder und great quality was the same as on cassettes. After recording, I started Windows MCE and transferred the material recorded in Windows using Qosmio player utility.

I have not tried, but I put t think you will be able to record audio using only Qosmioplayer.
    2. you can record movies VHS if you connect your VCR VHS on the Qosmio using the antenna cable. Launch Media center Edition (TV option) and scan channels. In my case, I could watch movies VHS on MCE on channel 31. Using REC option you can save all documents of video cassettes. Later, you can change the recorded material and create own DVDs. It really isn't a problem.

Your audio Home Audio recording can be a bit more problematic, and if you want it to be on the professional path you will need a device external and of course some professional recording software.
    3. I don't know what to write here. Just try to do what I already descriebed under 1 and 2.

    Good bye
