  There are a number of ways to do it, but probably the way the easiest way is to set up a hidden button that has no icon set and copy his white icon to use when you reset the other.

  If we are unable to remove it, so maybe what I'm doing will help you. I created a plus for all the icons I don't no need and put it in there. It cleans my screen and I always know where are the icons.

  Gary, this is a WAP message notification.

  Open your main messages folder.

  Press the Menu key > view folder > Wap messages or press browser.

  Find the messages and read or delete it. The notification on the homescreen icon will disappear.

  Open your desktop as a folder. The path is C:\Users\\Desktop. So if you type this in the box immediately after clicking Start, and then press ENTER, you should be able to see and choose what you want to delete.
