How to remove Microsoft popfly?

Suddenly, a program appeared on my computer called Microsoft Popfly.  It covers almost my entire desktop, I can't see anything.  Don't know where it comes from or how to get rid of.  Someone please HELP

Hi Flo,

Microsoft Popfly was abandoned in 2009. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft_Popfly. I have no idea why, he suddenly appeared on your system.  It could be malicious, but before going there, I suggest the following:

Can you not turn it off (even with Task Manager)?  If so, please do so that we can work on the system without being in the way.

Do you know when this problem started?  Try a system restore to a point in time BEFORE the problem started.  If the first attempt fails, then try an earlier point or two.  NOTE: You will need to re - install any software and updates that you have installed between now and the restore point, but you can use Windows Update for updates.

If this does not work, try a boot minimum http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135.  If the problem goes away then it's just a matter of tracking down the culprit at the origin of the problem.   Follow the procedures described in the article.  Once found, remove, delete, disable or uninstall.  Once remember to put Vista in normal status, as described in the procedures. If the problem occurs in clean mode then just restore the system to normal and reboot - this solution will not work.

Start in safe mode with network and see if the problem is here.  A result helps us to narrow down the search for the cause (and if it does not appear in Mode safe, we have at least a place to work without it interferes).

Download and run Revo: http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html and see if you can locate this program.  If so, uninstall it in advanced mode and then restart.  That should clear up the problem.

I hope this helps.  If not, please post back with the results of what you have tried and we will look more deeply how it is installed on your system, which makes start it, and if it's really this program or some form of malware.  Please indicate the version of Windows you are using (for example, 32-bit Vista Business SP2 or other).  Also, please list the names and versions of any software security that you use.

Good luck!
