How to remove the EM Oracle Enterprise Manager for database component.
We have a database that someone used in the past as repository EM grid. It is no longer in use. You are looking for documentation on how the drop. If anyone knows please give me with link to open the document Oracle.Oracle 11 g version 1 material.
Thank you.
I think that if you can't find the instructions on how to remove EM you can drop the user cleaning sysman repositiry owner then the database parameters of database associated with EM.
I think that the starting point would be the EM (Grid Control) installation manual for your version of Oracle and platform.

I bought a laptop with Windows Vista. My father also uses the laptop, but hate Vista, so it has installed an older operating system. Hello
I suggest you go through the steps and check if it helps.
Right click on my computer
(a) click on properties
(b) go to the Advanced tab
(c) click on settings under startup & recovery
(d) change the seconds to display the operating system to 0
(e) to the operating system you want to start the default operating system to help the drop drop-down
(f) click Ok
(g) click on apply
(h) click Ok
I would also ask you to contact the manufacturer of the hardware for the recovery media. You can also check if the system has a recovery partition, and if so, try to access, which will reinstall the original operating system.

Make sure your store to reset the chip on the cartridge at full level. If they can't do that, they have done wrong. Take it for a refund. To test, install a HP cartridge to see if the message disappears.

Enterprise Manager for database pending?
Hello
Does make sense to have enterprise manager is installed on the server of database pending?
I'm under 11 GR 2 on 64-bit Windows Server 2008R2. I have the primary database (pprd) on a server and backup server (pprd_dr0) on another server.
I have not (yet) implemented grid control.
After getting my database ensures working with protection data, there is no Enterprise Manager. I have that sqlplus to administer it. Is it wise for me to install the Business Manager on the standby database server? If I do this, wouldn't the patterns and then be out of sync from the primary database (sysman) for example, beating so part of the goal of having the database shall be identical to the primary?
Or do people in general NOT install EM on the standby database server?
Thank you
Hello;
"Does make sense to have enterprise manager is installed on the standby database server" No. you would only install the agent on the day before in most cases. (After you commissioning EM of course if you want)
If you are new to Data Guard running it with SQL for awhile and get the feel of it.
Later, you can decide if you want to use Data Guard Broker or EM.
Here's a query to analyze using SQL:

How to connect to Oracle Enterprise Manager 10 g Database Control have SYSDBA?
Hello
I installed Oracle 10.2.0 (Enterprise Edition) on my laptop at home. And with SQL * Plus, I login as sys and created a user Charles (with the password pwd), and I granted the DBA role to this user. SQL * more messages saying that the user has been created and the role (the DBA role has been granted). When I log on to Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g Database Control as a user Charles (with the password pwd that I gave to the creation of the user) as usual (in the 'Connect as' drop-down), I check that the Charles user has DBA profile. My problem is that when I try to connect to Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g Database Control as a user Charles (with the pwd password that I gave to the creation of the user) and as SYSBA+, one error message is displayed: your user name and/or password is not valid.
Please, how do I connect to to Oracle Enterprise Manager 10 g Database Control as a user Charles (with the password pwd that I gave to the creation of the user), but as SYSDBA?
Thanks in advance for your answers.user639304 wrote:

install Oracle Enterprise Manager in DefaultDomain (embedded weblogic jdev)
Hello.
I'll install the OEM in the embedded weblogic DefaultDomain.
But when I run the Setup Wizard I did not have the option 'Oracle Enterprise Manager'
Thank you
Published by: change on December 7, 2010 14:12First, the integrated WLS manages MDS differently for the cycle of test-run-dev (he uses a special file-based repository), and I wouldn't necessarily use the WLS integrated for this article. If you want to continue to install OEM in the integrated field jdev, you need to properly install execution of Application development - you cannot install only 11.1.1.3 (it's a patch) - you must first install 11.1.1.2.

Help, please... Thanks in advance.Only a general Council is possible. This kind of error occurs when there are the mismatches in your installed Oracle software. In your case "java.exe" and "oci.dll" do not suit each other. You may need to repeat the installation. Keep an eye on the error messages.

management of the PDBs with Oracle Enterprise Manager Express
Hello
is 12 c, possible to manage the PDBs with Oracle Enterprise Manager Express?
How to find the URL?
When I run select dbms_xdb_config.gethttpsport (double); on a PDB file, it returns no rows.

Thank you.
is 12 c, possible to manage the PDBs with Oracle Enterprise Manager Express?
Yes - but you will not have the COMPLETE management functionality. See the FAQ doc:
http://www.Oracle.com/technetwork/database/manageability/emx-CDB-1965987.html
Can I Plug and unplug the PDBs with EM Express?
No, EM Express does not all CBD management capabilities in DB 12.1.0.1.0.
Review ALL sections of doc
How to find the URL?
When I run select dbms_xdb_config.gethttpsport (double); on a PDB file, it returns no rows.
Have you set up EM and set the port to the PDB? Again - see the FAQ doc
http://www.Oracle.com/technetwork/database/manageability/emx-intro-1965965.html#A5
How can I configure EM Express on CBD and APB?
Users can configure EM Express at the root and container of the PDB, with each container using another HTTP/HTTPS port. When it is connected to the root container, the information displayed are the entire database, including all PDB files. When it is connected to a PDB file, displayed information is limited to the PDB data. For more information, see the section on EM Express on the CBD.
