I recently got the virus 'Vista Total Security 2011' and he blocked me to open my internet browsers. I changed all its settings and completed the process with the Task Manager, and now he let me on my browser. However, now I can't open anything on my computer (for example: Itunes, Skype, etc.) and it won't let me run things I download once I download them. It keeps saying "Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. May not permissions to access you the item. "What I do and how do I remove this virus?

I'm not very good with computers, so I don't really know what to do... Help, please.

My problem is solved! I actually didn't use all the methods presented here, but thank you for your help. My friend told me I could use "System Restore" and some degree of restoration before I caught the virus.

If any of you have this problem, I strongly suggest you this :) It's really easy and I didn't do much. Thank you all and good luck to anyone having the same problem!

Get your updated antivirus program and boot into Safe Mode.  Note that some viruses can hide from your normal antivirus program, so you really need to scan mode without failure.  To enter in Safe Mode when you turn on first, press F8 on every seconds until you get the menu, and then select Safe Mode.  Then run a complete system scan.

If that suits him fine. If this is not the case, use system restore to go back to an earlier date at the beginning of the problem.  To run system restore, click Start-> programs-> Accessories-> System Tools-> system restore.  Click on the box that says show more restore points.
    -
You can check the corrupted system files.  Open an administrator command prompt and run SFC if the above does not help. Click START, and then type CMD in the search box, right-click on CMD. EXE, then click on run as administrator. Then from the command prompt, type sfc/scannow.
    -
Finally if all else fails, you can look at the rather cryptic system event log.  To make, click Start-> Control Panel-> administration-> event viewer tools.  Once in Event Viewer system log-click and scroll entries looking for these "error" with indicator see if you can find guidance on where the problem may be.

When you get your system in good working condition, I invite you to back up your system up to an external hard drive and it puts regular periodic updates.

  • How can I remove Bitdefender Total Security my Windows 7 system 2015, except by reinstalling Windows?

BitDefender Total Security 2015, I installed on my Windows 7 system, and I want to remove it.  BitDefender seems designed to prevent users to remove and prevent users to install another security software.

Try to remove Bitdefender via the window programs and features left my system messed up so badly that I had to use to restore the Image to recover, and I got same bad results with Revo Uninstaller.

BitDefender has installed files who just won't stop running, and who cannot be stopped using autoruns.exe.  Several services of Bitdefender and BitDefender Parental control cannot be stopped, disabled or prevented from start.  I don't want or ask Bitdefender to install one of these things, but they have been installed in any case.

I have carefully created a Restore Point before installing Bitdefender, Bitdefender blocks the use of system restore, and my system images that were created before that I installed Bitdefender have been corrupted, so, unless I can uninstall Bitdefender, I'll have to re - install Windows and then re-install all my software.

Manual of BitDefender claims that Bitdefender can not be uninstalled completely by the conduct of the Bitdefender uninstall.exe, and that parts of the program that have been left in the system can cause problems.  It's a horrible euphemism.  BitDefender, so uninstalled with Revo Uninstaller, leaves thousands of entries in register behind, and Bitdefender services are not removed.  BitDefender manual gives instructions to remove the remains of Bitdefender parties, but following these instructions still leaves parts of Bitdefender which interfere with the system and prevent installation of other security software.  BitDefender, too, when it is uninstalled, install a different anti-virus program says, "so that your system will not be left without protection."  This alleged antivirus seems to do nothing, but prevents the installation of other security software.

I want to remove Bitdefender because he's such a Devourer of resources that it prevents the use of other programs.  My computer has a processor Intel Core 2 Duo E8400, which takes place at 3.0 GHz and which does not appear to be sufficient for Bitdefender.  It radically slows down startup, slows the recovery of standby or hibernation and slows the start of other programs.

I bought Bitdefender because I couldn't find the copy of Norton 360, I've used for years, and because the prices of the products Norton seems to have jumped quite abruptly.  I will now buy Norton Internet Security and Norton Utilities, even if they cost me almost three times the amount I paid for Bitdefender.  The Norton programs work, they do not slow down my system, and you can remove them if you want.

Go here for Bitdefender removal tool

    http://www.BitDefender.com/uninstall/

In addition, if you start in safe mode and you can then run the system restore.

  • Is XP Total Security virus?

This seems to be a 'fake' piece of software. He joined himself in the MSFT security software.  He is running a routine continuously saying "Virus Infection". It will launch a scanner that lists the malicious software and where it is located.  the ONLY solution is to activate total security XP software.  When you click on save, it asks your personal information and credit card.  I tried to launch IE and Firefox.  The XP Total Security software blocks access to internet and requires you to revisit the site for credit card information. It's a resident app memory (I think) Security XP logo appears in the toolbar next to "time".  I now use window Malware detection tool, after 2 hours, no results, but it still works.  Any other suggestions? This code is sneaky... and seems VERY genuine.

  • How to remove my small.ca virus win32?

So, I was infected by small win32. ca virus. Blue screen of death and all. The path of the failing application seems to be C:\Windows\System32\services.exe but when I scan it with my software McAfee and Malwarebytes Anti-Malwarenothing presents. I scanned with Malwarebytes and TDSS Killer of Kaspersky and it still cannot detect it. I found some infected software and removed it but not win32, because at the time I got another blue screen of death.

I also tried to manually remove the virus, but all the instructions step by step won't help me I can not find my virus to use. For example, it was suggested that I watch processes in my task manager for random.exe but I couldn't find that. Another suggested I change my registry and gave the names of files that Win32 hides usually below but I have not found anyone.

Please please please give me great detailed instructions how to remove this virus. I searched on other forums of discussion and tried other solutions, but they have not worked for me.

I recommend that you review the following.  If you have made reasonable efforts to locate and delete/quarantine declared malware from your computer then this can be a false alarm by Action Center.  It occurs on an occasional basis, but not necessarily aimed this reported malware.

Your BSOD may not be malware related, but just what is causing this BSOD can possibly cause a false reading to the center of the Action.
Have you studied the BSOD in Event Viewer to determine what is the cause?  Probably a driver is faulty - I had one of these last week on a desktop XP - a first in a few months on this computer and once again, he said it was a Windows Media Player problem - beats me.  It's frustrating.
    Good luck...

    How to remove?

    Original title: HackTool:Win32 / Wpakill.B

    Hello

I suggest that you want to run a full virus scan using Windows Defender in offline mode, because it can help to remove hard to find malicious and potentially unwanted programs using definitions that recognize the threats. Definitions are files that provide an encyclopedia of potential software threats. Armed with definition files, Windows Defender in offline mode can detect malicious and potentially unwanted software and then inform you of the risks.

What is Windows Defender Offline? : http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/what-is-windows-defender-offline

Note: There could be a loss of data while performing a mode offline scan using Windows Defender to remove viruses as appropriate.

recently, I installed windows xp. The system has automatically downloaded and installed from many windows xp security updates, which slowed the system. also, how open internet browser like IE8/Google chrome/Firefox, the system crashes, but the system speeds up after a while. I always find AVG antivirus free edition is updated at the start of the system upward during which the problem above. can you suggest how to fix it?

Chances are, AVG is you slow down because it downloads the latest anti-virus definition files and will then scan your computer. You can set how often you want these updates. Personally I have mine to search every day and will take the hit on his speed to get the latest definition files. Depending on how your system is configured, it will also look at the updates for other programs / Windows as well and download.
