  Make a bunch of audio files, placed in a folder on my desktop. I want my audio files in the My Music folder, but this place is "access denied." Don't know how to get the audio file it in any case, but if anyone has any advice, I would be very happy! Thank you. PS - I had no problem moving folders in XP. I don't like the idea that a computer is to decide where to put my files. I want to control where I put my files. I don't like the way search works under Vista. I liked the XP search companion better because, for a computer fool like me, it was really easy to organize and find files and folders and had an option specific to find audio and video file TYPES.

  Looks like you want to change the order of the pages both in Launchpad.  If it is not possible to change whole pages at a time, you can click and hold on an application and drag it to where you want it to be.  If you want to move it to another page, drag the app to the edge of the screen, and the page will change which allows you to place it on another page.

  I apologize for the confusion. Options you speak of "photos, web and file" are located on the phone somewhere, lets say you click files. When you click on files, it will search the phone for available files that are able to print the ePrint app. To the extent where they are on the phone, you will need to search for them via the search screen, connection to the computer, or some files are program specific and only available in this program to be read, edited, or deleted.

  You should be able to disable the history of files by using the local Group Policy Editor.  Consult this publication of the article.  Use the #2 option.

  So now, I want to find all the files of the user who have been registered by windows before the reinstall took place. My folders and files from my sister. Treatment of text and pictures and stuff.

  If you used the Auromatic backup gateway, they say that the files are in the C:\Backup folder on the hard drive.

  You will need to open that folder and either copy and paste or drag and drop them where you want them to be.

  Microsoft have now updated the status of GWX, whenever changes to update is downloaded as a new update re. It is not beyond their intrigues to GWX ineffective as well. Unfortunately we have to be patient until 29 July when, according to the assurances of Microsoft this mess will be disabled.   Search the forum for more information on using 'ssh' to access the Simulator and more specifically help 'scp' or 'sftp' to transfer files to. You will do this in the files under/accounts/1000/shared, and if you're on Windows you will probably be to install PuTTY to do this. Feel free to ask for help more once you have dug through it all.

  A file with FXR and FXM file extensions is a Document received from WinFax.

  You can open the FXR and FXM file by double clicking on it and let your PC decide which default application should open the file.   If no program opens, the FXR and FXM file, then you have probably an installed application that can view and/or edit FXR and FXM files.

  You can use a Notepad or another text editor to open these files.  Number of files is files read-only, which means little matter file extension, a text editor may be able to view the contents of the file properly.  This may or may not be the case with FXR and FXM files, but it's worth a try.

  How a FXR and FXM files:
  There are two ways to try to convert a file to a different file type:

  a. open the FXR file in its default program and choose to save the file open in another file format.

  b. use a softwarefrom online file conversion to convert these files to another file format.
  
  Note: using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.
