• How to use a function inside the package?

  You will need to convert weight unit of kilogram kips when filling out the weight values into a temporary table. In our database, schema there is a function called convert_units is available.
  How could I use this feature in my package? My package is also resides in the same database schema.

  It seems that the first two arguments of this function are ID in the units_conversion table. If you know this id = 1234 means kilograms, 9876 means kips, then you can do things like:

  wt_kips := convert_units (1234, 9876, wt_kilograms);
  

  or

  INSERT INTO tmp_table ( ..., weight_val,                               ...)
         VALUES           ( ..., convert_units (1234, 9876, wt_kilograms), ...);
  

  I can't just look at the code which could be any valid ID. I'm not even sure of the order of the arguments. I hope you have instructions on how to use the function.

  If the function is in a package named pk_xyz (a different package to the one in which you call it), add the name of the package, like this

  wt_kips := pk_xyz.convert_units (1234, 9876, wt_kilograms);
  

• How to report a bug? (Impossible to close the Welcome screen in Photoshop)

  I'm on the latest version of CC, running on a macbook pro running OSX 10.10.4

  I'm in bridge and select a sequence of photos, tools/photoshop/load files into photoshop layers. After you load the layers, I find myself with the home screen loaded on top, like a modal window with no way to close it. The top of the home screen seems to be 'under' the OSX menu bar, so I don't have visibility where access to any button "close".

  I tried to scroll to the bottom of the Welcome screen and selecting the "do not load at startup", but then I can't save this option because the only way I have to get out of photoshop is force it close because the Welcome screen doesn't let me do anything.

  Perhaps relevant:

  I'm running on an external monitor, above my mac pro screen. The two screens are active and act in the way that they appear in the Visual extension of the other (for example I 'up' from my mac pro screen to get my big screen). I noticed that lately (maybe beyond 6 months) cc apps became not good to recognize where they are run and open dialogs on the wrong screen.

• Vista - How to report a bug to?

  As time passes, I find most annoying bugs with Vista EU on my Qosmio G20. I think I installed all the drivers available. But still things are simply unforgivable.
  To be altruistic and all :), I would like to report bugs so someone could correct. But I do not know where to write to. just from Microsoft? Toshiba as well?

  I am also interested in the status, the crew Toshiba trying to get Vista drivers for their 'old' models too? Coz I don't have this much trouble with Satellite Pro U200-10i, which came with Vista Business pre-installed.

  P. S. - does anyone know what is SP1 for Vista demand?

  Vista bug? Hmm generally manufacturing operating system (Microsoft ;)) is responsible for the system clean. If you want you can report bugs in Vista to MS.

  Regarding the drivers Vista for Qosmio G20:

  I agree with you on the performance of the G20. This notebook can handle the Vista operating system very easily. But in my opinion it s not a question of the performance of the laptop but the issue of delay. The Qosmio G20 series seems to be out of the reach of driver Vista

  It seems that you have two columns which both refer to the primary key of another table, independent of the other.
  This means that your statement is incorrect on the conceptual level, and you need two constraints.

  Thus, it is not a bug and Oracle is right.

  All SQL statements must be analyzed as sliders to be filled. PL/SQL source code can contain code PL/SQL (programming language) and the source SQL.

  So, indeed you are coding 2 languages of different source code in the same source program. The PL/SQL compiler is a pretty smart to understand what is PL/SQL code and what is the SQL code.
