  It seems that the first two arguments of this function are ID in the units_conversion table. If you know this id = 1234 means kilograms, 9876 means kips, then you can do things like:

  wt_kips := convert_units (1234, 9876, wt_kilograms);
  

  or

  INSERT INTO tmp_table ( ..., weight_val,                               ...)
         VALUES           ( ..., convert_units (1234, 9876, wt_kilograms), ...);
  

  I can't just look at the code which could be any valid ID. I'm not even sure of the order of the arguments. I hope you have instructions on how to use the function.

  If the function is in a package named pk_xyz (a different package to the one in which you call it), add the name of the package, like this

  Assuming that you calculate in the PRC. Database COR_ALL.

  You may set the C12.00 value in quotes like "C12.00".

  Win7 when configured on the peer-to-peer network has three types of configurations of sharing.

  Group residential network = only works between Win 7 computers. This type of configuration, it is very easy to entry level users to start sharing network.

  Period_end is a somewhat misleading name for the column; It's actually the first DATE after the end of the period; That's why I used < (and not < =) when compared to the x.transaction_date.

  I'm not sure what ReportDate is in your description. This is an example of timid, you must validate CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements for some examples of data. It could be that ReportDate is just what I called transaction_date above.

  indicates a kind of markup and will not display the '16', even if I put it on a separate on its own line.

  First of all, I apologize if this has been discussed before.  I know not how to phrase succinctly the application, so maybe I just missed the search terms.

  We have several pieces of the Labview software in the laboratory that automatically control things like the taps and heaters.  Sometimes we also manually control these same things.  I'm moving old NI PCI (and older versions of Labview) maps to a variable and based on compactRIO system shared network.  However, I'm still not on best practices to achieve.  I need to be able to have a script running at any time control panel so that I can access, for example, a valve controller (which is just a Boolean), and I need power open and close the valve by programming other scripts.  I need, of course, the control panel to track the State of the valve until it opens another script, the Panel indicates that it is open, and the next push on the control panel it will close.

  Historically, this has been processed using structures business to move from a "computer control" and "hands-on" with global variables that define the State of the valves.  Of course, this is not recommended.

  So far, I've played with the help of two variables, a status of valve and the other for the State of button.  The Panel configuration then loops, reads the status of the valve and puts the State of button if the State of the valve has changed.  I can do this with registers at offset or with the structures of the event, but anyway, it gets very crowded and seems inefficient.  Is there a good way to do this in Labview?  It seems this is a common problem, so I hope there is an easy and elegant solution that I've missed.

  Variable published use shared network.  Your scenario and your manual of the interface and change the variable and then shared your cRIO reads fair value and writes the appropriate values.

  Now for a cool part.  On your manual interface, right-click on your heart control that you want to use to control the shared variable and go to properties.  There should be a data binding tab in the Properties dialog box.  You can bind a control/indicator to a published network shared variable.  So this button will always be attributed to the current state.

  Your script should just read the shared variable before resuming to verify that it is in the correct state.

• How to use a structure of the event in a Subvi

  I am using a structure of the event within a Subvi.  The Subvi has a table constructor that built tables and the structure of the event is used so that when the program runs, it allows you to change the elements of the array.  It works, but when I apply within a Subvi, it does not work properly.  This goes into a Subvi, because it will be part of a much larger progrram, so it must be modular.

  If you are using a structure of the event, it is not a Subvi.  If you worry about modularity, you should not use the structure of the event.

  You seem to have a fundamental misunderstanding of modularity.  An event structure must be placed in a while loop.  If you have a while loop in a Subvi, you have transferred control of your program to the Subvi.  You are not at this stage modular.  Your higher level GUI has no control.  You would have to create a stupid system of variables to pass data down to the loop to stop the loop and return to your main VI.  This is not a good design decision.

  Instead of searching for a way to make something broken, you should spend effort trying to understand what you really want to accomplish.  You should also spend some time to learn how to work the event structures.

  This application is small at the moment and it is already on the way to the unreadable.  It's a terrible thing to do for you.  Break these habits now.  variables are only when absolutely necessary.  Using subVIs to accomplish individual tasks, do not run the entire application.  With the structures of the event, use a value of stop button change event for will not be held hostage to the time-out.  If your variable is '2' in it, you're doing something wrong.  It has to be something different between set points, put it in the name.  If you want to make the subVIs, create an icon.

  But first and foremost, invest time in understanding dataflow
