If it is really necessary for a database to single instance by using different local listeners, you must set the instance parameter LOCAL_LISTENER to the listening port address list: Please read http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E11882_01/network.112/e10836/listenercfg.htm#CHDCCHIC.

You must press the Add/Remove button, to add pages additionla scanned to the existing file. If you do not see this button try decreasing the analysis DPI setting. Let me know if this helps you?

Hello Folks, please forgive this probably stupid question from a new user of Lightroom!

I recently imported some JPEG photos in LR, made several changes that have improved the images (well, I thought they did...) but then for the life of me I couldn't work out how to save the results.

Stored files just show the originals, but in LR, they appeared with all the settings. Tried to export, but with the same result. I don't know I am on what is obvious...

    Your question is number 1.

You do not have record in LR (LR, as it goes along). To see that your changes applied you export and create a new file. LR does not change your original file,

    Hi gurus,

I'm stuck in a situation and need your help.

We check if our backups are valid or not. So it gave me a new server and backups/archives to a 2 TB database I need to restore/recovery. I followed steps below.

    (1) copied the prod parameter file to test.

    (2) make the necessary changes in the init file.

    db_file_name_convert, etc..

    (3) start db in nomount mode.

    (4) restore the backup control file

    Restore controlfile to ' / oraback/ARCH/prod/backup_controlfiles/c-250795000-20141030-01';

    (5) mount the database.

    (6) created under the rman script and executed.

You can not ignore the archivelogs.

If the archivelogs are not available, you need a database backup that was created after missing the last archivelog point.

  • How to save a PNG with an alpha right or fat?

Long story short, work in broadcasting and a new piece of equipment like the png files.  I know how to save png with transparency, is not the problem.  I don't know how or if this is possible is to save with an alpha right or fat.  At the moment we feather or extend the edges to past the alpha to say a logo and save it as tif, psd, or .tga.  This way once it is indexed on video or something else, the edges look good, no bad black border... it is logical, explaining probably not very well.   But move to png files, I have no idea how to do an alpha right or fat because he sees the transparency.  I mean that if I have feathers on the edges, a png will see this right, since there is no alpha?

    I hope this makes sense?

    > If we don't fill the transparent areas and semi-transparent image with the colored part of the image, we have usually get a dirty key/matte or a lot of fringes.

This means that your other software and hardware is not reading/interpretation of the PNG file correctly.

PNG saves with everything that is in the pixels in the transparent area - because they are supposed to be transparent and not seen.

If you see artifacts in the transparent areas, then something is wrong with the software displaying the PNG, because 100% transparent should not be visible at all.

Almost, it looks like someone could not read the documentation and specifications and try to treat the PNG as premultiplied format.

After you create the database, it is automatically saved with the listener. I am not registered the database with listener then how it registers itself automatically with the listener. How a registry database that is automatically saved.

    I use 11 GR 2 and RHEL 5.4

  • Update database with several form fields with the same name

If I've made good progress on my CF photo album project, but now I meet a problem.  Once I downloaded a collection of photos and them inserted in my database, I bring up a page that is actually an array containing the thumbnail of each image, some info on it and the description of the photo.

The table is inside a < form > tag, and the description is a < textarea > tag.  I have many text boxes that I have pictures, so there may be any number (within reasonable limits).  I'd like to be able to type a description for each picture in each text box rather than having to do one at a time, and then click the button submit to update my file.

Each text box has the same name, so I had the idea of adding a hidden form field that held the photo ID, then on the processing page, I might have a < cfloop >.  My problem is that I can not understand how to associate each photo with the corresponding description ID, especially if we consider that some of the descriptions may be empty.

Is there a good way to do this?

As you probably understand, giving all your textareas eponymous means that when the form is submitted, you get a value that is a list of the contents of each text box comma-delimited.  If none of the commas are typed in the text box, you have a problem.

My preferred method is to include some sort of identifier as part of the name of the form field.  Since you have ID photo available, I would use those.  This would give your names textareas as description_111, description_112, etc.

When the form is submitted, I loop through the form.fieldnames list.  If the first 12 characters are 'description_111', I can remore 12 characters to get the id.  I also have the content of the text box using the array notation.

  • How to create a subform with several rows initialized?

I have a repeating subform on my form that should start with several lines initialized.

I can create several blank lines by setting the binding "repeat subform for each data element" and set the number of 'min', but I would like to have values in one of the columns so that doesn't happen.

I can create multiple instances of my subform named and initialize the value of the column in question, but then if I have the "repeat subform for each data item" checked I get additional dups, but the first row and the button Delete (right-click action "this.parent.instanceManager.removeInstance (this.parent.index);" ')»» and Add button (click an action "_rates.addInstance (1)" "") erratic behavior.  I mean here the button Add adds sometimes lines with values that have been deleted previously, and the delete button sometimes a warning saying something like "topmostSubform [0]: Page1 [0]: rates [10]: delete_button [0] .click on Index value is out of range.

There is no connection to a data source where I could get the values for the column, I want to initialize.  In my opinion, I'm close, if only I could find the correct settings for the links palette.

    Thanks for your suggestions!

If you have columns and rows, why not use a table instead of subform...

Check the setting of binding to "repeat the line for each data item.

Add the button 'Delete Row' to each line in the last column.

Add the button 'Add Row' under the Table.

Add text fields to the columns that you want the data displayed / modified by the user.

    I hope this helps.

    If not, let me know...

    Thank you

  • LR 4.3: How to save * existing * Tiff with Zip Compression

    Dear all,

    -J' using LR 4.3 on a windows 7 x 64 PC.

    -J' use a catalog for each wedding/event/shoot.

-J' I import all my images as CR2 or DNG and work with those files in LR and Photoshop CS6.

-Once I finished making changes on a marriage, I find myself with, for example, 300 16-bit uncompressed Tiff images in a dozen different files (I shoot big 600 pax + marriages sometimes).

-I want: Re-save/overwrite all these images as Tiff 8 bit images with ZIP compression.

    How can I do this?

-J' tried to select all images and exporting 8 bit Tiffs Zip with the tab replace originals without selected warning. However I get the error that the file already exists and LR can do nothing about it.

-J' tried to create an Action in Photoshop, but there are two problems: 1) photos are spread over several files and selecting each via file > batch > controller means the process requires manual intervention to reselect TIFF of the next file - I want to hit the action, go to lunch and come back to find ALL registered. (2) the action is outside the LR and I would like rather to avoid mistakes of "metadata has changed outside ' even though this is not really a biggie.

Why not just save the images as TIFF Zip initially? I use a number of freelance retouchers, many complain that the compression process slows down their workflow initial (slower material).

I would be very grateful for any ideas.

(and yes - the space is considerable, there where I live the memory is still not cheap enough!)

    Thanks in advance...

Have you determined the steps you want for a single photo in Photoshop?

You have an action of these steps that does what you want in a folder?

It would be wise to leave things as a 16 - bit where the layer blending options change too, but you can confirm one way or the other by testing with a complicated overlay of the edges carefully to feather situation and make sure that nothing looks bad after you convert to 8-bit.

It seems it would work to use Bridge to select the whole lot of hair in a marriage to compress and eventually convert to 8-bit.  With the help of your file (s) example:

Bridge point to the Jack and Jill marriage file, set the view to display items in subfolders, define the filtering in TIF, leave the bridge find all hair and then do a Select All on them and choose tools / Photoshop / lot... then indicate your photo-simple action and make sure that the source is bridge and whatever other parameters are required and let it go.

You would like to experiment and perfect your batch processing on a copy of the records so it wouldn't destroy the real business until you were sure it was working.  It is possible that some thing would not work because you substitute on top of photos or make several subfolders or something else - I'm not much of an expert of action PS, but it should be relatively easy to check if it would work or not.

  • How can I close Firefox with several tabs without message

It drives me crazy. I'm using Firefox on Linux Mint 17 40.0.3 to the top of a tower Dell Latitude I5. If I have more than one tab open and try to close it, I get a message:

Do you want Firefox to save your tabs for the next time, it opens?

I click on "Do not ask next time" and "exit". He does not save this preference.

So I did some research, went up to about: config and change the following parameters to false:

    browser.tabs.closeWindowWithLastTab; false
    browser.tabs.warnOnClose; false
    browser.tabs.warnOnCloseOtherTabs; false
    browser.tabs.warnOnOpen; false

but this message still comes up. Is this a bug or a feature? How can I get this preference to stay?

    Thanks in advance.

If browser.showQuitWarning is set to true, you will get this warning message.
You must toggle the pref to false with a double click to disable this warning.

  • How unload us a DLL with several different COLD?

    Hello world

I am designing an application that implements several functions of a DLL that I build.

I call two functions one after another to get the results of my functions. The first function (Read_Property) made many operations and saves its information in a layer of data inside the DLL. (Basically certain static arrays of string). The second one (get_Data_Array) is just a "get" function which returns the string at a position that is defined in a table.

The first version of my application was a state machine with a façade where the user just had to enter the parameter of the function, then press a button. I wasn't unloading of the DLL at any time because I thought that LabVIEW makes itself when I close the instance of the application. I got excellent results and everything was fine and that I could make multiple calls to my pair of functions without having any problem. However, I discovered a bug when I close the instance of my application and I started another. My first function got a timeout for no apparent reason. I worked with my DLL in a context of C and I know that this kind of bug appears when multiple instances are running at the same time. After a time out, the only thing I could do to fix this was to restart LabVIEW.

So, I think my problem comes from the fact that there is interference in some static in the first function variables because the DLL has not been discharged properly. After that, I tried to unload the dll in the last State of my state machine because it wipes out all static variables, but it was not a success. The same problem was still present. After that, I tried encapsulate my problem to a single VI. So I just tried to run my 2 functions for one after the other and then unload the DLL by connecting an empty path both of em. As my first version, after two or three tracks of my VI, I am a time-out again.

    My VI looks like this:

Why does my DLL doesn't unload?

    Thank you

    I have some progress here.

I just added some check to see if the DLL was attach/detach, so I would like to know if the DLL was unloaded or not.

After a lot of testing, I realized that my first version was loading/unloading successfully my DLL every time.

However, I still have my time-out and I bet it's because different threads execute my DLL at the same time.

I'm going to do another topic for my problem, because it is not the same topic.

    Thank you for your help.
