  The option is always there. You should press and hold on the image a little longer and then when the backup or copy of the window opens, save the Image is on the bottom row, but you may have to slide to the left to reveal.   Sometimes the only resizing is not the answer because the
  the original size is different from the print size.

  You may need to crop photos to the size you want
  print to ensure that no clipping will occur. Cropping
  to a different aspect ratio will lose some parts of the picture but
  at least you have control over it.

  Windows Live Photo Gallery is a cropping tool.

In Windows 7 RC, when I plugged in my camera or insert a memory card, I could choose "import pictures and videos using Windows Live Photo Gallery", but in my new installation of Windows 7 RTM, on which I have installed Windows Live Photo Gallery, there is no "Import pictures and videos using Windows Live Photo Gallery" option allotted me in the list of Control Panel AutoPlay or on the AutoPlay pop-up that appears when I plug in a camera.

  How can I get that back? Without this option, I have to go through the manual steps tedious to execute WLPG and manually choose to import from there and say what is my camera. It was much better under Vista and Win7RC when I had the simple auto play option.

  My PC is running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit, but I also installed WLPG on two new computers Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit my parents, and they have exactly the same problem. Is this a known bug? Is there a solution?

  The Windows Live Photo Gallery import Option is not available from the AutoPlay on x 64 systems. Try the underside of work around to see this option.

  The amendment is expected to be auto-sauvé. Photo Gallery saves a copy
  the original unedited in a special folder... is what allows
  the program to cancel a change.

  In Windows 7, you can find the folder in the following location:

  I have a new laptop which runs on Windows 8 (everything is new).  I'm working on my gmail email account, I have to access via Google Chrome.

  When I get a picture (or a PDF by the way), I click to download, and I see that it downloads at the bottom of my screen.
  I can't figure out how to save him.  If I open the file, it opens in a very limited view app that gives me an option - delete or set it as an app tile or background.  I can't right click on it while the file is open to save it on my c drive.  There is no "file" option  I can't even right click on it then that is only a download at the bottom of gmail icon.  If I right click on the image as it is displayed in the text of gmail, it saves the image in format low resolution.

  You have no need to 'save' - is in the downloads folder.

  Open Windows Explorer and navigate to your download folder. Here you can move, copy, delete or open.

  If the photos or videos still exist in your system, you can import those in Windows Photo Gallery. If the files have been deleted permanently, you can't bring them back into the gallery. Follow the steps listed in the article mentioned below.

  Complex issue... but I'll try to offer some ideas.

  Data that cannot be rewritten on the photo files are archived in the
  Windows Live Photo Gallery database owner (Pictures.pd5).
  So... move the files may prevent access to the data.

  If you move the files to another computer, you may have some
  moviing success the Pictures.pd5 file also.

  Sometimes data are not written back to the image files, because they
  are read only... and sometimes it's because of the file format.

  you see... All Photos and videos?   Right
  Click on "All Photos and videos" and the
  menu... Choose... 'Create a new folder '.
