  • Re: How to save the video file to a DVD-R for Equium A200

I have the Equium A200. Someone can tell me how to save the video file to a DVD-R on my computer in order to use it later, or use it in windows movie maker and must not simply copy on another DVD-R right?

My cursor also has disappered in the suite of windows media, that makes life quite difficult.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you.

You mean, you want to copy the original DVD movie to HARD drive?
Well, you can copy the contents of the entire DVD to the HARD drive. It means that you have to copy a lot of data.
I would recommend shrinking the DVD movies using a tool called DVD shrink.
It would decrease the data and would also copy the content to the HARD drive.

But if you want to use these files later in windows movie maker, so you must convert these using a 3rd party tool.
Google a bit and you should find many free applications that would help you to do this work.

    Good bye

  • How to save the .xls file to a place predefined using TestStand

    Hello

I wanted to write a test case using TestStand without using the LabVIEW screws. My requirements are-

    1. thanks to TestStand, read 'LRDC' and 'Tension' / information about the columns of an Input.xls template file and create respective local table variables accordingly in the Teststand sequence file.

2 start a new worksheet that will bring together the results of the tests using the local table (created in step 1) as input variables. Criteria of pass/fail will be executed according to the values read from the engine ECM.

3 allows the new worksheet as "Results.xls" appeal and it should be saved in a predefined location.

From the points mentioned above, I am able to set up the point No. 2, but I'm still not able to understand "how to read the value of the template of Input.xls" and "How do I backup the file Results.xls in a predefined path.

Please take a look at the enclosed sequence. I currently hard coded [...] Locals.RLOC and the inhabitants. [x] [0], but ultimately I want this info to get filled with Input.xls file.

In addition, step 12/14, I try to use the "Save Excel" step, but I don't think this is the correct step. She asks for (optional) filename as input, and even if I said "Results.xls", while recording the file get saved by name as Book1.xla, Book2.xls.

Can you please suggest any stage in which I can quote the path where the file will be saved with the name Results.xls?

    I use TestStand 2010.

    Thank you and best regards,

    Niraj.

  • How to save the text file input array

Hello, I am very new to LabVIEW, so apologies if I use the wrong terminology.

I did a VI which reads 25 text files from a 3D array.  When I click on run I need to select the files 25 text.  Is there a way I can save the data imported for later calculations without having to select the files each time?

    Here's what I have:

    Dan_Owen101 wrote:

Thanks for that.  But the user will not have access to these files during execution of the VI.  There are many other paintings that I'll need to save and index for other variables as well, so just for that would use the method of you would be useful to know.  All I really need is a way to save these relatively few values in a table.

So do you intend to have these values hard-coded into your executable?  This seems dangerous and likely to have you to make updates much.  Believe me when I say you want to have the sitting files with the executable.

But if you're insistent on this, I would use a global variable.  Have a VI just read all files and build the table for you and write in the global variable.  Then you can right-click on the control on the Panel before global variable 'Create default value'.  Save the variable and build your executable file.

  • How to save a PDF file in Adobe so it appears correctly in the Firefox default drive?

I have seen discussions on how to change your own settings of Firefox for poster correctly PDF files (documents to look at a PDF in Firefox 19 +) However, I'm looking for a solution on how to save a PDF file so that they display correctly in the new default Firefox reader. Our files PDF is bad looking and I can not go in the browser of each clients and difficulty settings (http://www.cherrybekaertbenefits.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/ACA_Infographic_072114.pdf). Meet them all parameters within the Acrobat Distiller is going to fix this without the Viewer to enter their own arrangements?

    Hmm, not a subtle difference.

We did not have many experts PDF or Adobe Illustrator users post advice here; those who might be sprinkled around on other forums, blogs or support sites.

I noticed when you view the properties of the PDF in Adobe Reader that the PDF has been created with optimization for active fast Web view. This is a feature that allows the progressive rendering of PDF files over a slow connection (http://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/kb/optimize-native-pdf-file-sizes.html#...). You can try to re - generate the PDF file with this feature turned off to see if that makes a difference?

I need to download the updated printer drivers and the first thing I need to do is to create a temporary directory on my hard drive to save the downloaded files.  My operating system is Windows 7, the 64-bit version.  My printer is a brother model MFC - 240 c.  (That copy, fax, scan and has Photo Capture).

You shouldn't really need to create a temporary directory - especially for the Brother printer drivers.  You can download it at any place that you can easily find (like the office).  Then double-click it to run it (run) on it and let it install.

    I realize has their instructions (probably the ones found here<-- that="" is="" a="" link)="" say="" to="" download="" the="" file="" to="" a="" temporary="" directory="" -="" but="" i="" just="" downloaded="" the="" file="" you="" need="" (mfc-240c-inst-win7-a2.exe)="" and="" double-clicked="" on="" it="" and="" it="" doesn't="" have="" to="" be="" anywhere="" special. ="" it="" will="" 'extract'="" to="" the="" native="" temporary="" directories="" as="" needed="" (nothing="" to="" be="" concerned="" with)="" and="" then="" ask="" you="" to="" choose="" a="">

Which I suppose you want to English (as shown), and then you click OK.

He then expand some additional files and then ask you to accept a license agreement (I suggest "Yes" If you want to go further):

In your case... choose 'Standard' and click Next and continue in this way until it is installed.  Then (once Setup is complete and closed) you can restart the computer (first and foremost) and then delete the original file you downloaded (MFC-240 c-inst-win7 - A2.EXE) on your desktop (or downloads, etc.)

    You should get through it.

I am new to Adobe.  Have the .pdf file in Adobe Reader Xi and can open and see on my screen.  How to save the .pdf on my Flash Drive file: L?

I would advise against ever record directly onto a flash drive. For no reason I can understand this often broken leaves files behind.

Instead, just save it to your desktop and drag it to the usual flash drive (in Windows Explorer or the Finder).
