  It seems you either worked on PDF Portfolios or PDF files have been attached to the document.

  If you work with PDF portfolio you will see an option to extract the PDF document.

  In case you the document have other documents as attachments, you can see the document on the right side of the screen here, you should look for an icon that looks like a logo of an attachment, if you are not able to see, it can be disabled. To show you can right click on the bar on the right where you are able to see "Thumbnail" then select the PIN to paper in the form of an attachment (icon). It will appear.

  Make a right click anywhere on the page and choose the 'selection' tool, then you can drag it over the text and then right-click in the selection and choose 'Copy' and then switch application to MS word and paste there.

  If you are unable to select and copy text, either it's a scanned pdf document or it has implemented security restrictions.
