  Just try to scope a project.

  We would like to get live video output of the first to use in another application.

  The idea is to use a stream of first as a texture for a map navigable 3d model.

  It's to do the job of previs 3d really difficult.

  We have an existing version of the app to previs 3d that does the same thing with quicktime movies imported.

  But our coder has not used the SDK before first.

  You wonder if we can use Transmit somehow... to treat our app as an external monitor.

  Guidance on how to move this topic... or better still... y at - there anyone out there that could be in place to help us on this project (small budget but paid)?

  Hi Marcus,

  Yes, the sounds of mercury pass API as way forward for you.  I would recommend from the sample project "transmitter".  Build in the folder plugins Organization (as described in the documentation, SDK Guide.pdf, Chapter 1, 'How to build the SDK projects').  Your developer can set breakpoints in the code of example of transmission and launch a debugging session with the Organization, to observe how transmit plug-ins are called, and what information they passed.  Looks like you will not be working with audio, so you can just disable that in the sample.  Chapter 9 of the SDK Guide has much more information on the concepts in the API issue.

  Usually, this is your ISP that has a limit on the size of attachments.  You can try to use a service like Dropbox to store your file in a cloud service then send your recipient a download link.

I have tried both directly through iMessage by tapping the (camera icon) to the left of the body of the text, this in turn, I select what video to send and somehow, it is not visible in the body of the conversation in iMessage.

  Whenever I try to send a video at home, I took, it asks if I want to send with the mailbox or just send it. Neither work. These videos are from 20 to 30 seconds! It is said many times there is an error or the file is too large for the server.   If you have trouble getting an error by sending an attachment, you can check the size of the file you want to send. The limit is not based on the time of the video, but rather the size of the file.

  Limits on sending messages

  There are several safeguards in place to ensure that only iCloud members can send messages using iCloud. One of these safeguards include reasonable limits on:

  • The size of incoming and outgoing messages (20 MB, up to 5 GB with mailbox ) enabled

  The size of the mailbox and the message sending limits in iCloud

  Mailbox limits

  Attachments cannot be sent using mailbox if they exceed these limits:

  • The message, including its annexes, is higher than 5 GB. Try to send the content of your message in several e-mail messages or compress your attachments to make them as small as possible.
  • A uncompressed file is attached to the message. Follow these steps to compress your attachments.

  To attach files to your email, simply click on the play icon attached once you have the message at the top (the icon is generally that of a paper clip).
  This will open a window that allows you to browse (look around) for the file that you want to send.
  Find this location of file on your computer and click it to add it to the window and select OK.
  Depending on the size of the file, it loads a few seconds and then you will see the file attached to your email.
  Finish the email as usual and send.
