  Oracle 10.2 comes with UTL_MAIL package.

  Give it a read through the documentation. It's pretty simple to use.

When I try to write a new message in the mac app, it opens a blank email with just an address and areas, address. There is one thing to help apple about it that says-

  AFAIK, you can't choose the alias to use in the From popup. In fact this only appears if you have several accounts and allows you to specify the account to use (not just any given aliases).

  You can, however, select what alias is active on behalf of icloud in Mail-> Preferences-> accounts-> account information. I don't think that you can do on a message-by-message basis.
