  InDesign offering a wonderful object multi-state capacity which unfortunately does not work in PDF files. It took a bit of research for me to come with this information, the UI program itself gives indications that this should work. (Why not maybe another forum of discussion.)

  So, I create an interactive PDF using buttons to hide/show specific paragraphs (which are also implemented as buttons because only the buttons and forms can be hidden or shown, AFAIK).

  I've set up a PDF created via InDesign using the six control keys and seven paragraphs - one of these paragraphs is the initial state that I want to see when the document is opened. As long as the PDF file that I create is distributed, that's how it works: an initial paragraph appears, buttons can be clicked and the stuff of Heroes appears the mark.

  However, a colleague thoughtfully saved the PDF file (so it could rename something more to his liking). When he does this, he left one of the displayed subsidiary paragraphs, rather than the initial paragraph I intended... and of course, this is the version that came out to the customer.

  Question: Is there a way to set the initial state to hide/show buttons when a PDF document is opened first, regardless of the State in which he could let or saved? I guess it's sort of ON OPEN event that would allow me to define an initial state as a safety net to the way I save the original document. Obviously, the PDF AS I DELIVER IT will pave the way, I want it, but I'm trying to overcome the appearance of the Murphy's law of a document that can be re-recorded in another State. An event which OPENED on that cure.

  in this case you would have been better if you had locked the PDF file in order to prevent changes ANDS record as actions...

  We work with ADF 11 g and the user wants to use a LOV a field during their research and another when they change the information in a pop-.
  
  I have the popup work and we may change the information but I can't understand how to have a different of LOV show when the user is in the pop-.
  
  I've set the attribute VO use 2 LOV and I added a transitional attribute to the VO and picked up as a list of value switch but I can't figure out how to set the transient attribute when the pop-up opens
  so that it will use the 2nd LOV while in the pop-up etc and then together is back to normal when they are not on the shortcut menu.

  The best solution I found for this was using two different views and then link them. This allows a different LOV will basically be attributed for the same attribute. Be sure to use the correct view on the specific form for the desired LOV.

• How to set the page template for a page in app

  I've been looking for a way to re - assign a specific page to a different page template, and I must be blind. I did it with the regions and reports, but never a whole page. The closest I can find is how to set the default page for an application model template. What I have is a printable form that they want in a specific format. I was able to code the whole thing into a region of PL/SQL, but I was hoping that I could take an existing page template and modify the model to different regions in the areas I would like to.
  
  Can someone help me find this? I have already created a copy of the page template I want to twist.

  If you are in the tree view, double-click the entry of title of page (top); If you are in the component view, simply click the edit button in the page area. Either way will take you to the screen of the Page change. in the display attributes section, you will see a Page Model drop-down list.

  I have a form, and he doesn't have that one button (send). When I press 'Enter', it can send the form and action. However, when I add another button (Normal button, not submit), it cannot run directly submit when I press "Enter".

  Note that the button enter will not submit the form if you are in a select command (aka dropdown) or a textarea component or if your home is not on a form element.  This is the default behavior.  If you want to replace, you write javascript.

  If I click on the " login " button, it takes me to the login page. If I click on the forgotten password button, it takes me to the password screen. However by clicking the register button, only takes me to the login Page.

  I don't understand why this happens. Can anyone help?

  This happens if the registration page requires authentication. The page must be accessible to the public.

  I would like to create a book with blank pages, some gray and some black backgrounds.  In photoshop, it's easy to set a background color, but I don't see how to do this in InDesign CS4.  It should be easy, but I can't find the answer anywhere!

  Unless you intend to actually print the background color, rather than printing these pages in stock color, you should put a layer of sepatate behind everything and be together the nonprinting layer or turn off the visibility before the release.

  In addition, if the majority of the publication will be released on colored stock, you can change the shade [paper] to show something close, so you will not need to have a special background for these pages.
