How to sign a PDF document with a jpg image

When I was using Adober Reader I could sign a PDF document with a jpg of my signature image and does not use a digital signature?  Is this possible with Acrobat Pro?

The Acrobat help doc explains how to create a custom stamp: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/acrobat/pro/using/WS58a04a822e3e50102bd615109794195ff-7e67.w.h tml

  • How to sign a PDF file with a certificate using Acrobat Reader DC? It works fine in Adobe Reader XI.

Using Acrobat Reader XI I can sign a PDF document with a digital certificate. After the update to Acrobat Reader DC I can't understand how to do this. I don't see where I can sign with an image of signature mu, but how can I register with a certificate?

    Check

In the top bar, select "Tools". Check if the list of tools in the right pane has a 'Certificate' tool If he does not appear for the 'Certificate' tool in the list of tools in the main pane (you had to scroll down to get to her. The legend below should say 'Add '. Click on it. The 'Certificate' tool is added to the list of tools frequently used in the right pane.

Now that "the 'Certificate' tool is in the right pane, click on it." You get a new bar on the top that lists the operations that you can do with digital signatures. These are the same options you had in Acrobat XI when you clicked on filling sign & -> work with certificates.

    Good luck!

  • Signature of a PDF/A with a JPG image, invalid compliance

    I'm trying to sign a PDF/A document.

I can't do without for as much invalidate the PDF/A compliance with Adobe Acrobat. So I use our tool to sign the file.

When I use a BMP as the beautiful graphics of the signature, the file remains compatible, if we use a JPG image compatibility fails.

The only difference between the two files (compatible and compliant) PDF/A is the different XObject object (one is simple pure bmp object, the other is a jpg, with always DCTDecode etc.).

I would like to know if there is a way I can make the JPG image to work without to invalidate the PDF/A compliance, or is this inevitable, like a JPG object has attributes that contradict the basic concepts of the PDF/A format.

Since Acrobat Reader downloaded DC I can't sign my PDF documents. It does not give me the option more and yes I am connected. On the old version, I got no problem with clicking on "signature" and draw the area where I needed my signature, put the password and "POOF" my signature would be there. With this new version, it won't do that or give me the option. The online help is useless. I need to explain to me how connect you as I used too?

    Hi nicholass35183848,

I assumed that you had a digital signature created in your player application of old and whenever you use to fill out a pdf with a signature field signed you it. But in order to draw and then sign you must use Acrobat Pro DC no DC drive.

  • How to set up sites of confidence for the PDF Documents with Hyerplinks to Lotus Notes databases?

    Hello everyone,

my company is using PDF documents with hyperlinks to Lotus Notes databases.

When I open one of these files with Adobe Reader Default Setup, I can not open the hyperlinks.

When I disable the safe_mode at startup, it is possible to open links.

To ensure safety, we try to set the trust for our Notes Server site, but I couldn't find a solution.

Our servers work with Lotus Notes 9, customers use the Version 8.5.3.

Clients are installed with Windows 7 Enterprise.

We test with Adobe Reader DC, Version 2015.007.20033

Thanks for your support in this matter.

    Thank you in advance everybody!

    Hi oliverh33447604,

Open Acrobat Reader DC, navigate to the Edit-> Preferences-> Trust Manager menu-> settings

Use the option of the customer to add to the list of Web sites.

I have previously a POWER1) product allows me to digitally sign a PDF document? (2) convert a word to PDF doc?

    Hi robertb48724220,

I checked your account. You have an active subscription to Adobe PDF package, which allows you to convert files to PDF format, both signing (the fill & sign on Acrobat.com does not require a subscription). You can access your account at https://cloud.acrobat.com/. Just sign in with your Adobe ID and password.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

where nPageMode is the possible values:

0: leave the display mode is

1: display without bookmarks or thumbnails
