How to solve "battery not charging" on Aspire One AO725?

I've tried the general fix for this given by some people on Youtube and other sites, where you remove the battery and then uninstall the drivers / energy from the battery in the Device Manager.  Then cut, put the battery back in and resume, leaving pilots to re - install again.  But this does not solve the problem for me.

Acer forums do not list this question for the model AO725 battery charge, but they do not mention for a couple other models of netbooks, saying that the battery does not load when it reaches a State of complete exhaustion.  They update the BIOS.

I guess that's the next thing I try, even if it is not mentioned as a solution for my model.  This meeting on the 725 everyone?  If so, were you able to fix?

Thank you, dergol

If you are in the middle of travel, I recommend you to wait that you will not be in a dire situation on the super low probability that the BIOS update fails, but with the Windows BIOS of today updates function is not really a risk, I would update the BIOS.

You mentioned that the netbook has been used in 2012 and was set up to your recent travels, which would explain a little when it comes to the battery. If the battery has remained intact for several years will noticeable impact on the performance of the battery. I don't think that the performance of the battery has something to do with a slow system.

  • Battery not charging - Thinkpad E531

    Dear Lenovo,

I have been using Windows 7, but I recently changed to Windows 8.1.

In Win7, I was able to install and use the Lenovo power management software, and I changed the threshold of 40 to 50% battery.

After I installed Win8.1, I realized there is not any software for Windows 8.1 E531 power management, so I can't charge my battery above 50%.

It seems that power management software makes somekind of related material change or do not remember my previous settings which I did in Win7.

How can I change the thresholds without reinstalling windows 7 and power management software?

Could you give me a link to a management software can be used for Windows 8.1 E531 Thinkpad power (which is 100% working)?

    Another solution?

    Thank you!

Go in Device Manager. Find the battery device. Click the triangle next to the battery to decompress. Left click on the device of the compatible battery Microsoft ACPI control method, then right-click and choose uninstall. After restarting the battery wasn't in charge more. The laptop works fine when it is connected to the (new) cable, but battery does not charge and the laptop does not start with a charged battery.

Battery not charging 100%, remains stuck at 84% to 91%.

    Hi all

I got my blackberry z10 not too long ago, and initially, the battery was not serious. A full charge is 100%.

Now, I'm having the problem of not to charge up to 100%. He shows me the icon of "lightning" up to about 84% to 91% where it stops and shows me the '=' sign as in fully charged or not charging.

I tried to restart the device and even turned off while loading see that fixes the problem or not, but nothing helped.

Someone here has the same experience? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you

LEAVE it plugged into the wall charger (not USB > PC charger) for half an hour.

With the charger plugged, remove the battey a minute then reinsert it.

This will often reset the battery on the device reading to the actual battery charge.

  • Satellite on Mini L9W - B - keyboard battery not charging BIOS v1.7

Hi, I bought the Mini click and have been put in place for my personal use today. However, I have noticed that does not charge the battery in the keyboard. I updated the bios to version 1.7. What I see now, is that the Tablet is loaded, which is good, but the keyboard is "load" according to windows, but it only remains at 0%, so do not charge for real. Also, I hear a high pitched noise coming from the keyboard when it tries to load. I just tried to let it charge while it is in mode "sleep" to date. Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

    See you soon

Edit: One other thing I want to add: when I opened first the box containing the laptop, I had to completely load it first before their use. It was not possible to start the laptop without loading everything first.

OK, nevermind. I left load during the night, and it seems to be ok now. The Keyboardbattery seems to be fully charged now

    Good news!
I guess that the battery has been deeply discharged, and in this case, it is necessary to recharge the battery for 24 hours.

  • Satellite Pro A100: Battery not charging

    Hello

I wonder if anyone can help. I have the laptop above and just before the warranty run out, I had a problem with the power cable because it would not require the laptop and would also make a funny type of sparking sound.

I sent it to Toshiba who could not find any problem with him (he did only occasionally - usually after using it for an hour or two) and the laptop returned me which worked well.

Shortly after the warranty missed, I had another problem with the power. The laptop battery is dead and the power cable would not charge the battery at all. When the laptop is connected or not connected, the only light I get when you press the power button is the orange flashing light telling me that the battery has no charge.

So I bought a new power cable thinking it would fix the problem, to find that this was not the case and the laptop would not even charge.

I Dove and bought a new battery hoping that was what was causing the problem, only discover that even once the battery was not at fault either.

If someone had a similar problem or know someone how / repair shop what to do to solve this problem without having to spend a fortune on take it to a PC? After calling trick a couple where I live, they said they would only do what I did - change battery and charger - and if that did not fix then told me to buy a new laptop.

    Help, please!

    Hello

Sorry for this news but this question looks very bad.
First of all my first thought was a battery defective, but according to your message, we can exclude this possibility

Everything looks like a malfunction of the card mother:(bien sûr ce n'est qu'une suggestion, mais si l'adaptateur est ok et la nouvelle batterie doesn t trop puis une panne de carte mère est possible.)

I think that there is not much to do. First, you must be 100% sure of the breakdown. Verification of the laptop is so necessary and inevitable to see what's exactly wrong.
That's why I really would recommend contacting an ASP and ask for details and additional handling.

But be aware that the exchange of the mobo is a costly affair because the motherboard is one of the parts expensive notebooks. Lets hope you n t need to replace it

    Good luck

  • HP ENVY notebook: battery not charging!

    Hello

I recently bought a HP ENVY laptop, and I've updated my windows edition to Windows 10.

2 weeks ago, I noticed that my battery no longer works. It does not load: its says "plugged in, load" but its not charging.

now my battery is empty, (say 3%) and my laptop 'nine', which isn't that 2 months, does not come on unless it is plugged.

You have a solution to my problem?

PS: I tried to uninstall and reinstall the drivers of the battery from the Device Manager, but nothing happened!

Is it a windows update problem or a battery problem, although my laptop has only 2 months?

Thank you very much for your help!

    Hi there @Rodgee,

Welcome to the HP support community where you can ask questions, find solutions and get help from others in the community! I wanted to join you and help! I understand that your battery will not charge on your HP ENVY laptop PC. You mentioned you tried to uninstall and reinstall the drivers and that you are not sure if this is a problem with the battery of Windows updates.

Please make sure that the AC adapter cable is not plugged into a power strip, surge arrester, or secondary power source. It should be directly into a wall outlet.

There are a couple of documents that you can use to try to understand where is the problem. The first one I would say is the document of the battery is not Notebook Power or hold a Charge . If your laptop battery will not hold a charge, you better follow the instructions in this document step by step to fix the battery and see if it needs to be replaced.

You can also use the document test and calibration of the battery (Windows 8) . This will help you determine the status of your battery.

Have you tried to use the HP Support Assistant to download drivers and updates? Here is a link to the HP Support Assistant, if you need it. Simply download and run the application and it will help with the software and drivers on your system that needs updating.

This answer doesn't solve your problem or answer your question? If so, please share the good news! Inform others that this answer was helpful by clicking on the button accept as a Solution . You can also show your appreciation by clicking thumbs-up.

If you need assistance, I would be more than happy to continue to help you. Please re-post with the troubleshooting results and include your model number (How can I find my model number or product number?).

    Thank you!

  • 0% available battery - not charging

    Greetings-

I have a HP Pavilion dv 6500. I'm having a similar battery problem which has been discussed in other posts. The original battery "died" a couple of months, and I bought a new HP.

Now the icon in the system tray indicates "0% available (sector, no charging current). I installed the HP Support Assistant and ran the battery Test, the result is: status: 'Calibrate' and current status: 'unknown '.

Problem is that part of the procedure to "Calibrate" is to allow the battery to charge (from 99 to 100% of load), but I am unable to accomplish this because the battery is not - the charge remains at 0% and never seems to recharge.

Am I missing something? Any suggestions for the Forum will be appreciated!

Recently, I had problems with the battery, which means that I need to plug my AC adapter all the time. The battery in the taskbar icon indicates that the battery is 68% and these last days. Placing the cursor on the icon says "plugged in, not charging", and the battery on the laptop light does not illuminate. If I unplug the AC adapter, the laptop shuts down completely.
