  Dreamweaver is a Publisher, so pretty much once you create the files and download them, it does not matter if you used DW or any other editor, its now up to the server.

  After typing that, I wasn't able to reproduce the problem you described.

  The page/site seems to load very well at the moment.

  However if want to inspect what could slow down the loading of your page I recommend using 'firebug' and select the 'network' tab to follow every chronology file loading.  Then you can see which file takes more time to load to help make adjustments accordingly.

  (1) do not use GIF images. The only time where .gif must always be used would be for small moving images (which, IMO, is a questionable practice 'design'). Muse won't touch a GIF image. It will be passed through. Image http://www.ligacreative.com/images/ieva-lc.gif your site into an image of 35 million pixels (HUGE). It is the only represent 4 seconds to download on the connection time average US broadband. Convert to PNG or JPEG, and replace the image within the Muse and Muse will be resize and recompress the image to the output of a small fraction of its current size of file.

  (2) use JPG of an image that is photographic in nature.

  (3) use the PNG for images that are generated by computer (i.e. images with hard edges or areas of color United, where the JPEG compression is likely to put objects in the image). If you have this type of images, deselect "Convert PNG" opaque in JPEG in the properties of the Site.

  (4) use the PNG for images that contain areas totally or partially transparent (as JPEG doesn't support transparency).

  (5) avoid having transparency in photographic images when possible. If you can cook the background color in the image, do. An opaque image can be JPEG. If there is no transparency in the image, it should be PNG (or GIF). For a photographic image PNG is about 5 times more grand and so 5 times longer to download than a comparable JPEG.

  (6) to resize the images as images of background fill for browser filling, fill the page or fill to an object of width 100% browser before importing. Muse does not automatically resize these images, then you must decide what your site maximum screen width Web will be targeting and resize these images outside Muse prior to importation.

  There are two ways.

  (a) with the right button on the clip Time Stretch, and then select your reading speed of the value.

  or

  (b) click the Time Stretch tool (the clock) on the timeline and stretch the clip to slow it down, or drag it shorter to speed it up.

  In my view, it is usually a mistake. With a minimum of care, it should never be necessary to reinstall Windows (Vista or any version). I ran Windows 3.0, 3.1, WFWG 3.11, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7 now, each for the period of time before the next release is out and everyone on two or more machines here. I never reinstalled none of them (with one exception--a problem that I worked on for weeks without success), and I've never had anything more than an occasional minor problem.

  It is my belief that this erroneous notion comes from the technical support people in most of the major OEMs. Their solution to almost any problem, for they know not quickly answer is "reformat and reinstall. It is the ideal solution for them.   There could be several reasons for this:

  1. your code is not effective. If post you it here, we could have a look on

  and see if it can be improved.

  2. hardware your computers is not up-to-date.

  3 acrobat/Reader is simply slow.

  Another thing to consider is using some kind of progress bar to let your

  users know that the action takes place, so that they are eager

  During these 4 seconds. There is an object embedded in Acrobat/Reader that can

  do exactly that. Look at the thermometer object.

  Edition - shows only upward on one of the 2 computers I have / use.  Any movie file I import was that if camera, animation or imported from youtube.  All formats - slight differences in size, fonts and the location.

  Hi and thanks... Videos out of my camera I'm just drag and drop to the desktop.  They are avi - cam is a Canon about a year.  Others are .mov of 3D software I use - Cinema 4 d. I save animation software in the appropriate folder.   Youtube videos are made with YOutube Video Downloader and files are for most .flv but others come too.

  All of these files open when doubleclicked and the name of the file is very large print at the bottom of the screen may be 4 seconds then fades.  I've not edited somehow - they are the first "raw" video camera or animation software.

  It is not consistent, but especially it happens only on one machine - Win 7 Pro with all the updates.

  Scroll down to and uncheck 'Show Media title on Video'... / Save.

  The next time that VLC is started the video title should not be displayed.

  Looks like your Panel has not been locked.

  Can click you on "Essentials" (workspace pulldown) of the upper right of your screen > Reset "Essentials" to see if it snaps the panels into place?

  Because your tools Panel seems to be anchored and intact with your main frame of the application.
