How to stop my Windows 7 turn on several times

There is something wrong with my Windows 7. I accidentally pressed a button at the top (F4, F5 or F12). The screen of my laptop turns off but not the laptop. I knew that I pressed something and he must have done something to my laptop. I started by pressing F4, F5 and F12 one after the other. It's really annoying that this happens because whenever my laptop turns off screen, I close my laptop closed when the laptop does not illuminate, I opened and it press the button back. My account was always on so it was OK. But my laptop has no password. I don't know why, but I do not have a password for it. So, whenever I turn on my laptop it will go directly to 'welcome. ' Please help with my computer screen laptop turn on/off.

    Hi EDeeS,

The settings Windows 7 UAC (User Account Control) has a slider to change your level of comfort with the notifications. You can choose one of the following four options:

    ·         Always notify me and wait for my reply. UAC (User Account Control) prompt is displayed on the Office secure when a program is trying to install the software or when you or a program tries to change the settings of Windows. If you do not click Yes, after 30 seconds, the UAC (User Account Control) prompt automatically denies the request.

    ·         Always inform me. The UAC (User Account Control) prompt will appear on the desktop when a program tries to install the software or if you or a program changes Windows settings. If you do not click Yes, after 30 seconds the UAC prompt automatically denies the request.

    ·         Notify me only when programs try to make changes to my computer. You are notified only when a program tries to make changes to your computer, including changes to Windows settings.

    ·         Never notify me. This selection disables UAC (User Account Control).

Note: You must restart your computer when you turn on or turn off UAC (User Account Control). Change levels of notification does not require that you restart your computer.

Best way to check this problem needs to connect to an external monitor. If you notice the same behavior on external monitor it seems to be an internal hardware or software problem. Otherwise it of just the internal monitor that is faulty.

  • How to stop a video download it restarts every time I open Firefox?

I got rid of the addon. Restart Firfox a dozen times now. Restarted my computer. But everytime I open Firefox, the download starts. The arrow above shows that no download is ongoing. Only the green bar in the Firefox icon on my taskbar tasks shows that a download that happens with an arrow directly fade after as I start firefox. He is gray now, and nothing is in my Show all downloads. I tried to boot into safe mode with all the Add-ons disabled. Always start the download. I would leave it to finish, but it never does. The icon is completely green, but he says never download is complete. I open the video file successfully, but he always told me when I left firefox is running a download. When I clicked out in all cases, the file has disappeared from my download folder.

Problem solved! My fourth try and the download is actually complete itself. I don't know how, in the absence of the addon, that it worked. Or why I couldn't stop the download or find it in the queue. Sorry for the inconvenience.
