• How to stop adding files to source code control generated RoboHelp?

  I have a RoboHelp 10 project configured to use Team Foundation Server. When my user generates output (e.g. the preview or "generate... ") RoboHelp automatically try to fund the generated files (add or edit operations). I want only the source files to be added or removed automatically, not the generated output. • How to password protect my files shared on my network?

  I am trying to share a folder on the network and the have password protected. I use Windows XP Service Pack 3 Professional. I have disabled in simple file sharing files Options. All my computers are in the same workgroup. For the record I would like to share, I have the following settings:

  On the sharing tab, I 'Share this folder', filled in the maximum limit and the share user name. The "Permissions" button, I deleted "Everyone" and put in a username I've created specifically for the sharing folder connection and he gave total control. Everything is left to him by default.

  For the Security tab, I just like default except added the user account, I created and that you have authorized for total control.

  When you connect to a network share, authentication proceeds roughly in this order:

  1. If the user on the remote computer is connected with a user name that exists on the machine sharing the passwords match, while the user is authenticated as himself without another guest.
  2. If the user on the remote computer is connected with a user name that exists on the machine of sharing and the passwords do not match, then this as seen user denied access to the computer sharing without prompting.
  3. If the user on the remote computer is connected with a user name does not exist on the machine of sharing, an attempt is made to authenticate the user "guest".  If successful, that the user connection looks like it is 'guest' on the machine of sharing user.

  Double-click "Invited" in the right window-> Put a check in the box "account is disabled".  "OK" your way out.

  First of all you can try disabling IPv6 on your PC.

  To do this:

  1. Start > Control Panel > view network status and tasks (under network and Internet)
  2. Has chosen to manage network connections in the left menu
  3. Right-click on Local area connection and select Properties
  4. In the pop up box, uncheck the following:
     • Internt Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)
  5. Click OK, and then RESTART your computer

  I have some files I try to download the document cloud-IT worked fine and I was able to view their off my mac as well as the Android (galaxy tab) where they were saved and published.

  Now that there are a few files stuck in 'pending' and the other guard saying save even if it's clearly not the download. It is small file (12 MB), but it is not downloading. How can I undo this so others can download and re try this one later? It was 'save' for 3 hours

  I suggest to change the Indexing Options:

  Steps to follow:

  a. display folder that you have hidden.

  b. open the start menu.

  (c) in the search bar, type "Indexing Options". Click on "Indexing Options".

  d. click on 'change '.

  e. use the 'Indexed locations' window to access the location of the folder that you want to hide, and clear the check box. Click on 'OK '.

  f. close "Indexing Options".

  g. re - hide the folder.

  h. disabled folder will not be displayed on the search function.

  NOTE: To do this, the files you want to hide should be in a separate folder, you are hiding the whole folder.
