  • How to embed a flash video in a logo?

    Hello

    I'm new to flash and dreamweaver and I slowly try to learn it.  I created a logo flash for my site (http://www.emorgenstern.com) and I am trying to expand the background color to cover the rest of the Summit.

    In dreamweaver, I put the flash embedded video in a div class and changed the class to extend to the entire length with the appropriate background color.  In dreamweaver, all looks good, but when I download the real .html and .css file, it does not look good.  The real test link is http://emorgenstern.com/emorgen/emorgen/index.html

    Here is the code for these sections.

    Here is the .html file

    < div class = "banner" >
    < object classid = "clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase =" " http://download.Macromedia.com/pub/Shockwave/cabs/Flash/Swflash.cab#version=9, 0,28,0 "width ="468"height ="60"title ="banner"> "

    < param name = ' value ' = 'high' / > < param name = "LOOP" value = "false" / >

    < / object >
    < / div >

    Here is the .css file

    div. Banner {}
    margin: 50px 0px 10px 0px;
    Padding: 0px 0px 20px 17px;
    border-style: solid;

    border-width: 1px 0px;
    line-height: 11px;
    background-color: #eee;
    Width: 100%;

    Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance.

    Where did you got the CSS stylesheet that you use?  It looks like an experience and not a real world CSS.  You might be better off using an of the layouts CSS pre-built delivered with DW CS4.

    In any case, to answer you question.  Move your flash between this code in your HTML:

    In your CSS, you can change all that:

    / * #Header {}
    margin: 50px 0px 10px 0px;
    Padding: 0px 0px 20px 17px;
    height: 33px;
    border-style: solid;
    border-color: black;
    border-width: 1px 0px;
    line-height: 11px;
    background-color: #eee;
    "" {voice-family: "------"} \ ' ";
    voice-family: inherit;
    height: 14px;
    } */
    body > #Header {height: 14px ;}}

    to do this:

    #Header {}

    Width: 100%;
    background-color: #eee;

    }

  • How can I display Flash videos without any decoration of Flex application

    I develop a player video flv with Flex3 and have problems to get rid of the decoration of application (frame, border, etc.) as part of a standard Flex application. My video player is 200px x 200px and I just want to see what shows the video, so that the Flex application allocates 200px x 200px.

    It is is not clear to me if this can be achieved via the attributes of tags special resp. or if I have to do something in the area of CSS.

    Thanks a lot for your code. It doesn't have what I thought, but it helped me to find the solution. It is the decoration, but the position of the VideoDisplay which was my problem. I added a width and a height at the request, changed its layout added and absolute x and y for the VideoDisplay, both to zero. And voila I got what I want.

    Then I deleted the attributes of color in the Application and VideoDisplay and have always the same:

    http://www.Adobe.com/2006/mxml"layout ="absolute"width ="200"height ="200">
    ...

    ...

    The ControlBar requires some additional x and y of the attribute values for a perfect overview ;-)

    My mobile android version is 4.1.2. At the present time, I can't watch and download videos from youtube. If flash player does not support any mobile by using the version of android more 4.0, how can I watch and download these flash videos?

    You can always download and install Flash for Android 4.0 which still works on android versions greater than 4.0, which is located on this site (http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html), which is the own adobe site. Look for the Flash for Android 4.0 and the latest version. Although it is not advisable to use an outdated version of flash as it is not secure.

  • How to fix the Flash Player buffering of video in its entirety before playing?

    I use the version the most up-to-date flash (16.0.0.305), windows 7, and the problem persists through all the browser (IE, firefox, chrome). I went through all troubleshooting video playback issues (i.e. clearing caches, re install chrome, re-installation of flash, etc.) and nothing seems to change. YouTube and other streaming of premium services (e.g. netflix) work very well which suggests that the streaming media problem is specific to flash. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Flash integrated into Facebook videos do not appear when played

    My computer is running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit, Internet Explorer 11 and Adobe Flash Player 14.0.0.145. I have Microsoft Security Essentials and a copy on Malwarebytes Anti-Malware to protect me against viruses and malware, and my IT Department confirms that there is no malware infection plays a role here.

    However, I feel something weird and very frustrating reading all Adobe Flash videos that are embedded inside Facebook.com, including those that are shared from YouTube. Opening of the same YouTube video on YouTube.com does not produce the same behavior - videos YouTube ALWAYS play well on YouTube.com (whether embedded or full-screen), but NEVER play fine when they are integrated within a Facebook post.

    NOTE: The same videos work EXACTLY as PLANNED for Firefox and Google Chrome, so this seems to be a problem specific to IE. It started at the time where I was running IE10 and continued to IE11 wire.

    Here is what is happening in the two Internet Explorer 10 and 11:

    1. In my Facebook News feed, I search for a video I want to watch. Before pressing Play, I still see a shot of the video with the play icon transposed on the top of the image.
    2. I click on the play icon to play the video in embedded mode of Facebook (where I can see the other news messages above and below the video).
    3. The image disappears and turns white (no borders, just white). Along the bottom edge of the video is a bar containing the play/pause, volume, maximize buttons etc. Behind these buttons, I can see a view faded still - moving on the lower edge of the video, but the rest of the video area is completely white.
    4. I hear audio that plays, even if I can't see one frame other than the lower edge, that I have just described.
    5. If I click the maximize button on the lower right part of the video, the clip opens to fill the screen and all of a sudden, the video image appears and runs as expected.
    6. If I press ESC to exit the view to enlarge it, returns to the screen (with the video back to the context of RSS) Facebook integrated, but the image turns white again just as in step 3, with audio that plays again as in step 4.
    7. Make a right-click on the offending video brings up a menu drop-down indicating that the video is to use Adobe Flash Player 14.0.0.145.

    Other videos shared on Facebook, like those of vimeo.com, play without any problem in the Facebook.com even news from view, regardless of whether they are built-in or mode full screen. Only the videos using Adobe Flash Player seem to be affected here.

    I tried the following:

    • Uninstalled Adobe Flash Player. Reset. Open Facebook.com, you can find the video in the news feed, which indicates that the Adobe Flash must be installed. Click on the link provided and install Adobe Flash on adobe.com. Return to the video in my RSS on facebook.com and click play. Same behavior such as described above - no change.
    • Addition of facebook.com and youtube.com to my list of Trusted Sites. No change.
    • Addition of facebook.com and youtube.com to view Internet Explorer compatibility, you exit all instances of the browser, has reopened. No change.
    • Checked for unusual browser - nothing found extensions.
    • Cleared web cache, deleted cookies, resets the browsers to default and no advanced - settings default settings unchanged
    • Updates of Windows - all upgrades are underway.
    • Ran full scans with Malwarebytes and Microsoft Security Essentials. No malware or the problems detected. No problem found with roguekiller, adwcleaner and other related malware either tools.

    Any suggestions for me here? I really just click Play to see the video, as anyone can. FYI, all the other computers (Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8) on my network play these same videos and IE9, IE10, IE11 without the problems I am having with this one. Of course, I'd appreciate any help you can offer!

    This not the time.  It is not ideal, but you have two options to work, which is better than nothing.

    In all likelihood, content providers will have to change the code to meet IE11 and superior.  I spent a lot of time this week examine some technical tips that we put together for the developers, but the long and less, is that IE wants developers to stop writing the code that handles the IE differently from other browsers.

    IE has a history of not working exactly as the other browsers, and for a variety of reasons (including how JavaScript and Flash communicate with each other), the developers as normal practice wrote a lot of code to deal specifically with these quirks in Internet Explorer.

    Out of this impossible situation where they want the markup to be the same for all browsers, but having all this code specifically targeted on the IE due the long legacy to be problematic for web developers, IE masquerades as something else and disables features such as conditional comments that target IE code.

    The net result is that a lot of things is broken in IE11.  We work closely with Microsoft to be good partners and to help in this transition with some technical modifications on our end, but developers will have to change their code and/or update the underlying libraries everywhere on the web.  This will not happen from one day to the next.  Large suppliers of content with more resources will likely exceed the speed of small sites with less developers, but it will be months or years before it shakes.

  • Can't import video into Flash Pro CS5

    I can't import video in Flash Professional CS5.  I tried all sorts of things for days without success. I used Adobe Media Encoder to convert a video into a format that can be imported into Flash. My source was a VOB (it's a Pal Source) I have been using game source presets and tried others too.  I think I've managed to convert the video for both FLV and F4V formats.  They play well with Adobe Media Player.  However, when I try to import (file-import-open external library (get the screen of the Wizard), click Browse on the option of your computer, select the file, exit load video with playback component, then continue hit and continue to hit on the screen following after select the default skin and pressing on continue on the next page and finish on the next page) , I get the error tab out Flash that says: "NetStream.Play.StreamNotFound: Adobe Flash tried to read a live feed or recorded, that does not exist." Source was not found. "No matter what I try, I get the same message.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.   I have searched all over the web for a solution to this problem with nothing doesn't.

    Thank you

    Kirk

    Open the file browser > navigate to the directory that contains your flv/f4v > right click > click Properties > confirm that she has more than 0 bytes.

    If it does create a new directory and move your flv/f4v to the new directory.  create a new fla and save it to the newly created the directory that contains your flv/f4v and repeat your import steps.

  • How to make Flash video with disabled cache

    I recently came across a training videos site that offers online software training (http://www.kelbytraining.com/). I was going through the free training that they offered. The formations were good but what ever me even if the videos are Flash based, they are not stored in the browser cache.

    Unlike youtube.com, which also uses Flash for videos, where videos are temporarily stored in the browser cache, it wasn't in this case. Here is the link for one of the training video that I played on my computer but I could find no trace of him on my local hard drive:

    http://www.KelbyTraining.com/player/index.HTML#tab \browse/category\dreamweaver/course\179/ lesson\2541

    I guess, if the videos are played, then there must be some temporary storage allocated on the hard drive. There are two questions I would ask:

    1. How can we ensure that videos are not stored in the cache while users watch the video?

    2. If the videos are read online that they should can be temporarily saved somewhere we find this place on my hard drive?

    fix.  Here's more information:

    I don't know if this will make sense then please tell me if it isn't. is it possible to have a link/button inserted into the end of my flash video that make up the first page of my web site. the video plays with the name of the site then fades to display the text "enter" I want to make the link to the next page.

    > the video plays with the name of the

    Set the action gotourl on the last frame of the moving to FLASH.

    If it of a "cover page" and has a company logo dance and a nagging
