  I bought Adobe Creative Suite 6 Master Collection a few years back and I only used it on the desktop. I just got a laptop and he is not a player to set records.   You'll have better luck request this on a Linux forum. More creatives using Adobe apps simply don't like Linux and even try would be considered crazy by most of them (I certainly have), so the base of knowledgeable people is thinner than a layer of carbon nanotubes...

  I was given one uninstalled Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design and Web Premium Edition of education by a guy who bought the right product.  He bought a PC version, but it has a Mac.  It was impossible to install it and unable to return because the package has been opened.  He however enter a little into the www.adobe.com/go/edu-validate system.  He apparently had far enough in this process to enter temporary product code and connect to their e-mail address.  When I enter the product code, he asked me the original address.  I don't have info touch the guy.  Is it possible to reset it so I can install the product?

  Chances are that it will be for this guy to manage any reset.  It will probably transfer the license you formally.
