How to uninstall engine search foxtab-

First of all, I am pretty inexperienced as you will see, however, about two weeks ago, I downloaded a program and a new search engine has emerged called «foxtab»

He claims to be part of firefox, but I doubt.  I tried to uninstall it and it does not appear as a program.  I tried "restore system" by setting a date before downloading, that is to say three weeks, but he will not accept the new date I type and returns to recent dates.  It is a rectangular shape (same width but only half the height) with a golfball and grass on it (ugh!) and, of course, the word «foxtab»

The strange thing is that if you are looking for (and uninstall) on google on internet exp. he pretends to uninstall and you asked why etc.   I have essentials of micro seconds which was activated by a Telstra tech.  (it came with my Toshiba to buy) and seems to work perfectly.  The tech told me that it was the best.  If you google "foxtab", you'll see what I mean.

Can you please help?

Hi Scheherazade,

FoxTab is an add-on for FireFox and it's a new search engine.

To uninstall the add-on of FoxTab, please follow the following instructions:

a. at the top of the Firefox window, click the Tools menu and select Add-ons.

b. in the window modules, select the Extensions Panel.

c. Select FoxTab, click Uninstall. When you are prompted, click on uninstall to confirm.

  • How can I select 'search yandex' as a default search in the night Navigator engine 44.0a1 x 64

How can I select 'search yandex' as a default search in the night Navigator engine 44.0a1 x 64?

Now, I see a lot of search engines but did not have "yandex".

And how do I install elements of Yandex, when this may be available?

If you are not able to install a search plugin for Yandex from the modules or Mycroft site, you can try to install one on the site (this works in Firefox 41, I have not tested in every night):

Visit https://www.yandex.ru/ and notice that there is a green circle with a + on it on the search bar of Firefox. Click on that and then find the line on the menu drop down to add the site as a search engine.

I have attached a screenshot, but since I can't actually read the language, I apologize if it's totally another thing.

To make Yandex your default, you can use the link at the bottom of the Panel to the Options page search section.

    Success?

Regarding Yandex elements, is the problem that Yandex has not presented the extension to be signed by the team of Add-ons? It's something that you might feel free to encourage them to do.

    Hello

There is no list of what you don't need.

We don't know what programs you have, or what you use.

    It is your personal choice.

    @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

See if this helps you improve performance.

And does not accept the option "Pay for the version" trial installation

    http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/3047-sfc-scannow-command-run-Windows-8-a.html

Read it in conjunction with the rest of the information they give link above.

    Note

If SFC could not fix something, then run the new command to see if it can be able to next time. Sometimes, it can take by running the sfc/scannow command 3 times restart the PC after each time completely fix everything what he is capable of.

If this isn't the case, then run Dism/online/Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth to repair any corruption component store, restart the PC later and try the sfc/scannow command.

If still no, then try using ONE OPTION above to run the command sfc/scannow at the start

If still no, then you could do a Refresh of Windows 8, or run a System Restore using a restore point dated before the wrong file occurred to fix. You may need to repeat doing a restore of the system until you find a restore point that is older that may work.

If not yet, then you can use the steps in the TIP box in the section THREE OPTION to manually replace the files SFC could not fix.

    • The PC starts in Windows RE (Recovery Eenvironment).
    • Windows RE scans the hard drive for your data, settings, and applications and puts them aside (on the same drive).
    • Windows RE installs a new copy of Windows.
    • Windows RE restores the data, settings, and applications, which it set aside in the newly installed copy of Windows.
    • The PC reboots into the newly installed copy of Windows.
