How to unregister a computer from windows 8?

I bought a new Toshiba with windows 8 and plan to return this weekend. I called myself as ' administrator and computer, the name that you are prompted when I first opened it. " Now my name appears on the display "locked", where I have to put my password which is my Microsoft PW account. How can I get rid of all that more security 'info' that she also held me when I went? I won't do another computer on windows 8, but do not want something to tie me to this computer, when I get back there.

Thanks for any help

Windows key + C > settings > change PC settings > General

The option allows to reset Windows and delete everything.  This operation brings it to the factory settings as if you never use the PC.

    Thanks in advance

    Hello jorenhuysegoms,

If your PC comes with Windows 7 Home Premium pre-installed the manufacturer or another is provided with a DVD (which, in your case, they have not) or even your PC has an image of the operating system on a partition of your hard drive.

If you check your partition structure (Control Panel > administrative tools > computer management > disk management) you should see a partition marked "System reserved." This is the partition that contains the Windows image.

When you first got the PC, if you have followed the manufacturer's instructions, you must have created a recovery disk. This will help you to re - install your copy of Windows 7 Home premium. Search the site for PC manufacturers to 'restore PC back to factory conditions. This will tell you how to begin the restore process and restore your PC to the State wherever it was when you first purchased your PC.

  • How to export my contacts from Windows Live Mail on XP

I searched for this answer for the last 2 hours.  All the answers are for Vista & Windows 7.   How to export my Windows Live Mail addresses so that I can use in Thunderbird?  I'm moving to Thunderbird because quick view is off & on display unread messages.  They watch for a few days, then stop broadcasting.  Then repeat for a few days, then stop again.  This is happening for more than a month because there was an update of the first part of the last month.
But back to my original question.  How to export my contacts from Windows Live Mail.  When I click on the file to export and then export, there is nothing highlighted.   So, how can I get my contacts?  Or is there another way to do otherwise than through WLM >

    Thank you

This is happening for more than a month because there was an update of the first part of the last month.

There has been no update for WLMail 2009 since April 2010. Update do you think has affected your quick view?

How to export my contacts from Windows Live Mail.

Open the contacts window by clicking the address book at the foot of the folders pane. On the file menu, click export , and then select comma separated (CSV) values. If you don't see the menu bar, press ALT.

Note that the last statement on the help page (Export contacts) is wrong: by dragging the window contacts contacts on the desktop doesn't create any kind of file. In version 12 and 15, this produces a vCard (.vcf) file for each contact, but not in the version 14 (WLMail) 2009.

Windows Live Mail has its own support at the Windows Live Solution Centerforums. Please address any other question you may have on one of the forums on the right side of this page. You are probably asked to give your version of WLMail and Windows so that the answer may be more accurate. In WLMail to find your version of the software, a press on ALT - H. If it doesn't show you the version and the build number, press on escape to two times, and then Alt - F B.

  • How to remove a computer from my working group under XP and Windows 7?

We have recently implemented a network composed of our three computers (2 XP) Home Office and 1 Windows 7 to share files and printers.

However, we found its malfunction and could not share what we expect.  One of the reasons, we can see it, could be one of the computers have been infected.

So, we try to remove this computer from the working group.

However, no matter how hard I searched on Internet, there is no way to remove the infected computer's existing working group.

There that experts can help us?

    Thank you very much!

    Hello

You cannot remove a computer from a working group, but you can change the name of the working group.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/295017

    http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/51711-workgroup-name-view-change.html

But that will not necessarily mean that they are not accessible by other computers on the network, or it will necessarily make the other less likely to be infected through this PC computers.

The only way to "withdrawal" of a computer on a network is to unplug the network cable or remove the name of the wireless network.

If you are concerned about a possible infection, you must get the malware to day and scan for malware protection.

However, I suspect it's more likley your problems are caused by the lack of knowledge in the topic network different Windows operating system. This can help...

    Hi Paulettelukan,

What is the email client do you use? If Microsoft Outlook-> open Outlook-> tools-> Options-> Mail Setup-> Datafile-> you will get the location of your pst file. Close outlook and browse to the location of my computer and copy the PST on USB.

If using Outlook Express-> open Outlook Express-> tools-> Options-> maintenance-> store folder-> copy the path-> open my computer-> paste-> you should see all the dbx files-> close Outlook Express-> copy all the DBX files in your USB key.

    I hope this helps.

  • How can I copy files from Windows Mail (Vista PC) of my drive external segate to my PC Windows 7?

I have my backups on my external drive Seagate Free Agent of my old PC of Vista Windows that died. How can I transfer my files from Windows Mail, photos and other files to my laptop which has Windows 7 from my external hard drive. I used Windows Backup and Restore to create my backup files.

    Thank you for your help.

File messaging in windows 7 does not work. So even if you copy the files etc on win7, windows mail usually run in Windows 7

  • How to downgrade this laptop from Windows 8 (plain) to Windows 7 Pro?

I bought a laptop that has plain old Windows 8 on it and I need to downgrade from Windows 7, because our database program does not work with Windows 8.  I contacted Dell and they said I should be able to install Windows 7 on this laptop.  I have a license for Windows 7 Pro.  I put Windows 7 Pro (64 bit) with SP 1 on a DVD.

First of all, it's weird, because I tried to back up (create a system image) of Windows 8 and has been unable to do.  I have an external hard drive with 222 GB free, and says saving it would be approximately 22 GB.  Always backup said that he was unable to create the image, because there was not enough room.  I finally gave up, because I really hate Win8 now, so I don't care if I have a backup.

Second, I put the DVD in the laptop and tried to start the installation.  He was not able to apply the updates to install, it failed with error code 0 x 0.  I gave up and just went forward in any case.  He gets up for where it restarts the laptop, and then I get a black screen that indicates a bad signature file.  Specifies the file is \$WINDOWS.~. BT\Windows\system32\winload. EFI.  It gives a code 0xc0000428 State and said that the "digital signature could not be verified."

I called the support for volume licensing Center, and he said that he did a search on the status code and found that someone said to use gpedit.msc to deactivate the digital signature verification.  But he did not know how to find in Windows 8.  Well, it turns out that this is the editor of group policy, which is not regular old Windows 8.  More that he couldn't help me without me.  But he said that I should be able to install Windows 7 on this laptop.

I just install Windows 7 Pro on this laptop.  How can I do that and substitute the verification of digital signature?

Go into the bios and see if there is an option for legacy startup or disable secure boot.

  • creating a guest computer from Windows XP to Mac OS 10.9.4 stable address?

I have been using Fusion 5.0 for a few years to create a virtual machine from Windows XP SP3 on my MacBook Pro, and in general things have gone pretty well. Since I only use the virtual machine to run some legacy programs and because these programs do not run on any Windows operating system after XP, I got no incentive to improve anything. Unfortunately, a week before, the virtual machine has crashed in flames and I was unable to save. I was not yet able to reinstall Fusion 5 on existing files, so finally, I deleted all the files merger, following the instructions in the knowledge base. Doing, I discovered a folder titled "Incompatible software", which stated that the Fusion version I was using was incompatible with the version of Mac OS I was running. However, that incompatibliity was found in February 2013, so I think that this was not the immediate cause of the accident.

Anyway, my question is should I use Fusion 5 or 6 to host my virtual machine to Windows XP SP3 on Mac OS 10.9.4? I still need the existing programs so that I can't use any later version of Windows.

    TIA

Because you cannot reinstall Fusion 5, you could try Fusion 7 and see if your XP VM can be retrieved using that, given that the virtual machine crashing in flames, were due to difficulties with Fusion 5 trying to run in the Mavericks rather than something wrong with the virtual machine. Just first to the top of the virtual machine.

  • How can I move my computer from Windows Vista to Windows 7? Custom or upgrade?

Hi, I have a Dell XPS M1530 with Windows Vista 32 bit, I bouht a Windows 7 Family pack upgrade, my computer has this partition of the hard drive C: 220 GB and RECOVERY D: 10 GB.

I want to know that if I do the install as upgrade, it will keep the same partition of hard drive?

If that's enough, this partition of Windows 7, or should I do a large partition?

If I copy the D: RECOVERY files, do a factory image restore in the future?

I have some other doubts that I ask after this ones.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi Walter,

Dell has not yet, I bought the W7 dell family pack,

Let me tell you what I did, I opened the D: RECOVERY and copy all the content in an external hard drive just in case where I don't know (I don't know how to do the recovery disc).

I copy all my files on the same portable hard drive, and then I make an original image to restore.

I update W Vista until Service Pack 2 and now I try to install the Windows 7 upgrade, but I don't know how to do and if I do which is how I had to do.

I have the reistalation W Vista 32 bit of dell DVD.

Let me ask you something when you said: ' make an upgrade should keep the same data programs and settings, etc ", do you mean that when I do the upgrade of the partition of the factory will be the same after the upgrade?

copy the files from an external hard drive recovery and create a disc from there will not allow you to use them to reinstall vista

Ask how to do recovery dell discs

    read my 1 answer

and make the windows 7 upgrade was referring to the installation of windows 7 as an upgrade to vista on partition of 220gbs

for any other installatiion windows 7 questions to ask in the Sub forum to install windows 7

"Download Windows 7 installed and activated on your PC."
