  I m 665 not owner, but in my U400 BIOS I could turn on and off the media lights using the option titled Illumination.

  You can go to display Options (View > View Options) to control the projectors wired part. If you want light icons completely off (with a bunch of other things), you can deselect the option Show layer controls (view > show layer controls).

  Unfortunately the blue speaker lights cannot be disabled!
  The blue speaker lights are only available on individual units of notebooks P100.

  All portable P100 with Intel graphic 945GM has been delivered without the blue speaker lights and the P100 with nVidia graphics card are delivered with the speaker lights.

  No, it of not possible to disable the legal average speaker lights.
  I guess it could be possible to detach any connection cable or something similar, but it would avoid your warranty!
  I put t really recommend doing that!

  There is no way I know to turn off the leds. The only hidden command is one that allows their flashing of the cli and change the duration of each, but it won't stop them. Insulating on the leds tape is probably your only option.

  As far as I know there is an option in the BIOS to turn lighting on or off. This option, you must set to disabled. Then, go into the BIOS (F2) Setup and check all the options available. Enlightenment of the option that you will need to disable.

  Depending on your model, there is also a light touch to turn off this option. Therefore, check your user manual.

  Normally, for all the buttons of enlightenment, you need Toshiba Value Package added. It contains the driver for the lighting and if you have installed this tool correctly, it should be possible to disable the new lighting. You can download it here:

  In your case, I would also try cleaning the registry of Windows using CCleaner. Which is a nice freeware tool that can help you too.
