• How to create a pdf file in Indesign with 40 hyperlinks file so it can be used on different computers?

  I create a document in Indesign CS4, which is to be exported to pdf format.

  In this one page document, there are about 40 products listed, one after the other and each product has been implemented to hyperlink to a specific pdf in the same directory.

  This was no problem.

  There where the problem is that it won't work on other computers because it seems "electrician" the address of the hyperlink file.

  Then I went and put in place the hyperlink as a URL.  It worked on any computer, but then the pdf file opens in a Web browser.

  I NEED THE PDF LINKED TO OPEN IN ADOBE READER.

  Then I opened a pdf page in Adobe Acrobat Pro.  It has none of the hyperlinks.  So I've created hyperlinks it.  No probs.  It worked.  But if I want to update this document to a page in the future, I'll have to recreate all the links.  I have other docs that I need to create hundreds of links.

  Anyone can shed some light on this?  It should not be difficult.  Why a linked file doesn't work on any computer?

  Placement of WordPro in InDesign rtf files works without any problem, but - I wonder just how long WordPro will continue to operate with Windows 7 so I would switch to LibreOffice.

  When I Place a rtf file that has two columns of LibreOffice in InDesign, I get a loaded text cursor, but nothing loads. I can take this same file, delete columns, so there is only a single column, and it loads just as it should. In addition, if I insert the file of a column in a Master set up for two columns, the file is loaded in two columns with all the appropriate formatting.

  Please guide me in how to place files rich text in column two LibreOffice in InDesign.

  The XMP file contains the changes that have been made so far in the file, but cannot contain suggestions for future changes.

  You don't have to do anything to associate the XMP file to the image, except by checking that the two files are in the same folder.

  Camera Raw will automatically read the changes.

  Uninstall, run the cleanup tool (CS for installation problems cleaning tool |) CCM, CS6, CS5.5, CS5, CS4, CS3) and reinstall. The symptoms you describe are typical if the icon Manager .dll file is damaged.

  Try to disable your antivirus and spyware scanners and anthing else not required to operate the system before reinstalling.

  The user aren't LiveCycle users, users of the operating system. These users are used by LiveCycle when it launches the "native" applications used for conversions.  Users are necessary because many of the native applications (such as Microsoft Word) do not allow for multi-threading and thread saftey becomes a matter of concern.

  For example: I have three users of the system who are allowed to open Microsoft Office - Allen, Bob and Carl.  When I install LiveCycle I told on the three users during installation.  Later, I make a few requests to convert Word documents to PDF files.  If requests come simultaneously, one will be converted using the account of Allen, the second with Bob and the third with Carl.  A fourth request will be queued until one of the other conversions is finished.

  As a developer, you don't need to make the request on behalf of these users, which is controlled by LiveCycle.

  Hi Jan

  You have discovered a bug in 11g. It seems that I have a slightly different behavior depending on whether I selected the schema or select individual objects for SQL script generation

  1. Select specific objects to be generated - generate SQL Script - go through the wizard - save settings for reuse (settings1.generate)

  2. Select the node schema - generate - go through the wizard and select the objects to be generated - save settings for reuse (settings2.generate)

  The context menu for settings1.generate properly includes the option Generate - and generates a SQL script

  The context menu for settings2.generate misunderstands the copy to the project option - it also correctly generates the SQL script - but the menu label is incorrect.

  A double click on each script opens the wizard to generate with the saved settings to be able to modify/generate

  I raised a bug to change the label of the menu. In the meantime, the solution is to select objects when generating the script or use the incorrect copy in the Project menu label

  Thanks for your help. I found the problem. The challenge is to cvirte2012 have a bug in the control of the table, it may case protection function when the mouse move to a row of deteleted. I've updated to cvirte2013, and the accident does not happen again.
