  I arrive a little late on this one... but it is worth noting that wchar_t is 16-bit Windows, but 32-bit on Mac OS.  So A_UTF16Char and wchar_t are not interchangeable on MacOS.  Look for the example code copyConvertStringLiteralIntoUTF16() in the SDK for an example of not-so-nice how to handle this.

  I think the best thing to do is to copy the old catalog of the any file to the new computer and place it in its own nine empty folder.
