How to use Dreamweaver CC 20141 Live View to copy text formatted complex into a web page?

Since Design mode has been removed from the fluid grid Layouts and could disappear completely in the next update, I can't use Live View to place the complex text in my web pages.

Our company needs a list of the descriptions of complex tasks on our web pages.  Design view has worked well, Live View does not work. The following two examples are recorded.

Using the design view web page rendered in this way:

Obviously, as seen above, I do something wrong, or the Live View does not all the functions that the Design mode allows to.  I know that I can always access Design view in documents non - presentation of the fluid grid and it is my current work around.  I copy my Word file in mode available in non-fluid Design, then copy this code in my grid fluid, not true paper effective use of my time.  And even this workaround may not be available after the next update.

    Hello Ray,

Thanks for being passed me a private message.

Regarding your problem above, I guess that you are into editing (orange box) and then paste text.

Have you tried to paste the text directly in Live View mode? It does not preserve the formatting of text.

    Thank you

    Delphine

    • Lost in Live View and overview of formatting

      Hello. I'm stuck!

I am new to Dreamweaver CC, but previous experience with CS5.

I worked on a new website that was beautiful appearance until today. Now, I have lost all the formatting in Live view mode and preview. It just shows the test with no formatting at all. With the exception of the background image and the top navigation bar, which makes me think that the document should be link to the CSS file. In the design view all the divs and formatting are there.

I hope someone can help, but I'm still relatively new to web development, feeling frustrated, as it was working fine before today...

Still too much a novice to work out exactly why, but at least the issue is resolved and I can crack on.

    • View player mask a benign part of my web page: why?

Probably everything I need for a good answering machine is, a link to a reference describing the expectations from the view of the reader.

I have a web page where it is a piece that is delimited by 'section' tags. This piece goes to the player. Only CSS applied to "section" is the font size, which makes .875em. Aside from that, the 'section' is a mild together paragraphs. No advertising. No graphics. Former text quite simply.

Indeed, 95% of my site is text vanilla, immune to the effect of the reader with the exception of a police view, background, and change color.

I'm just curious to know how I can leave my 'section' rise from the ashes.

Later: my own answer and for all who read. Try the restructuring of your html code. Safari Reader like heavy symmetry. I have closed the whole page in the article tags, locked up each part in the tags section. (Until then only a part was an autonomous section and the section only explicit, placed between the body tags surrounding.) Now everything is fine. I didn't like as a result of this issue. (I.e., I consider this 'closed').

    • How can I keep my clock and icons when I go from desktop to a Web page?

Original title: XP Home Edition SP3.

The clock and icons displayed in my taskbar, when I'm at the top of the desktop, do not remain when I go on a web page. Only the zoom feature is displayed. How can I keep my clock and icons when I go from desk top of the page to any web page?

THAT IS TO SAY 8. I should have kept my question as follows: and not to lose the full screen setting, I chose in the TOOLS. I think I should use F11 to choose between full screen or clock & icons.

      Paid script are you using?

WordPress is software that is installed directly on your server.

WordPress websites are built with the built-in WordPress CMS or the dashboard.

It is unclear if what you use now would be compatible with WordPress.  You may need to start over with a new website.

Dreamweaver is only useful for the development of WordPress custom themes.  Once the site is deployed and running on your server, you must keep it with WordPress CMS.
