  I've just upgraded my Aperture library to Photos and spent three weeks to download all my photos on the cloud.  Now that they are on the rise in the cloud, I was wondering if I can use iCloud to host images for posting on internet forums and others?  Many of them will not directly let you download a picture, a link just here where she is already hosted (using the [IMG] tags).  In the past I had used SmugMug for this, but it seems silly to pay two subscriptions for the pictures of clouds (my library is big enough I'll have to pay Apple a monthly fee for additional storage space).

  Yes.  It is the only way to share image files.

  No, you need to simply share the edited again version and remove the old version of the shared album.

  Shared albums use a different part of your library to iCloud iCloud. The storage of shared photos does not count against your iCloud subscription, but it is limited, see: iCloud: My Photo Stream and iCloud Photo Sharing limit

  We have images (BLOB) user stored in the custom table, now, when the user opens a session, we wanted to use his image on several pages in application as in reports, forms.

  Question is how we can use a single image across the application, without reloading or Access database again.

  I thought I ODP and hiding the image in the ODP. Then store the URL in the overall page element to access the image in any of the application but it seems that ODP is drawn for each page and giving the database image. Best way to do this?

  The ODP does not cache the image Explorer.

  • Have you implemented the ODP using a Cache-Control header, as described?
  • Did you check the cache settings in the browser?
  • Have you used a web inspector to determine if the browser is in charge of the image from cache or asking for each page view?

  To make Office documents open in office, you must go to control panel > default value Applications > find Office

  (win key + 'X' > Panel > default of programs > applications by default > selected Office (you must choose Word, excel, etc. separately))

  Sometimes the only resizing is not the answer because the
  the original size is different from the print size.

  You may need to crop photos to the size you want
  print to ensure that no clipping will occur. Cropping
  to a different aspect ratio will lose some parts of the picture but
  at least you have control over it.

  Create images in this way for years, (strongly) believing that this is the only way to image also

  files that would normally be "in use". Maybe that's a way outdated thinking... ??

  CC libraries are not yet supported in Muse. This says that you're not out of luck. You have a few options.

  1: go to the site of Stock and go to your history of license and the same link that you used to save the image to your library allows you to save to your desktop. Simply select desktop from the menu.

  Personally, I try to avoid using navigation based on image, because whenever you modify your site and menus, you must re-craft the images in a graphics application.  After 2 or 3 revisions site, it ages in a hurry.  More importantly, CSS style text links are much better for SEO, the translators of robot and screen readers.  Images of text may not be indexed, translated or "seen" by screen readers.

  OK - I got out my trusty Photoshop Elements 10 - The Missing Manual and figured it out. What I was trying to describe, it was how to make images with 'tab' images 'floating '? This has somehow reset without my knowledge. What you need to do to get your images 'Floating' back is to click on "EDIT" in your editor - at the bottom of the drop-down list hover your cursor to "GÉNÉRAL" and click on - at the bottom of the drop-down list, click in the bottom left box 'ALLOW FLOATING DOCUMENTS IN FULL EDIT MODE' - and then click OK.

  That solved my problem!
