  I think that most reputable app providers offer some kind of documentation on how they use the permissions granted, since this is a pretty common question.

  but I think I have a more serious problem. In Windows 7 RC, when I plugged in my camera or insert a memory card, I could choose "import pictures and videos using Windows Live Photo Gallery", but in my new installation of Windows 7 RTM, on which I have installed Windows Live Photo Gallery, there is no "Import pictures and videos using Windows Live Photo Gallery" option allotted me in the list of Control Panel AutoPlay or on the AutoPlay pop-up that appears when I plug in a camera.

  How can I get that back? Without this option, I have to go through the manual steps tedious to execute WLPG and manually choose to import from there and say what is my camera. It was much better under Vista and Win7RC when I had the simple auto play option.

  My PC is running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit, but I also installed WLPG on two new computers Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit my parents, and they have exactly the same problem. Is this a known bug? Is there a solution?

When I initially changes the settings on the import photos and videos box, there is a link 'options' that I clicked and I changed it, but I can't change back.
