How to validate a separate xml file and a separate xsd file

I use Dreamweaver 2015. I'm now working on XML. I have a separate xml file and a separate xsd file. How can I validate them in Dreamweaver? I was told to use Edit-> tag library. Then, I am lost! Please help me!

Thank you in advance,

Tammy

  • How to create a sidecar.xml file?

Hello - I used generator sidecar very rad Johannes and instructions from adobe on how to download the file, but can't seem to make it work. I have a feeling that it's because they both start with a hypothesis:

"Use a text editor or an XML Editor to create a file sidecar.xml..." »

    "Writing in a sidecar.xml file.

How to create the file sidecar.xml of origin, in which paste the metadata generated by Johannes tool?

    http://projects.nordsueddesign.de/sidecarxml/#

    http://help.Adobe.com/en_US/digitalpubsuite/using/WS67cb9e293e2f1f60606c7754128c7a9c00e-7F ff.html

You use the web interface of the xmlsidecar generator made by Johannes Henseler and push the button it "generate". Copy paste in a plain text file and then replace tex extension txt to xml format. This is how you do a sidecar.xml the easy way.

Subsequently, yo have to import "multiple files" (or "multiple files"... my DPS is a Spanish) Folio Builder.

If the folder revolve correctly, folio Builder will start to swallow the sidecar data and download articles.

This time, while posting, my pc did this with a hundred articles. As happy and busy as a Beaver in heat

  • How to read the printers.xml file snapshot printer?

Hi I have a printers.xml file but I can't find the number of printed pages

    Hello

What is your printer? Normally you can print a printer status report and it should show the number of printed pages.

    Kind regards.

  • How can I parse the XML file using the Oracle's Sql query.

    Hi all
I have an XML file that must analyze and display the result according to the following example
Can you please recommend me an approach to get the result.

For example, here is my XML:

    <? XML version = "1.0" encoding = "UTF-8"? >
    < xmlns:pi = "urn:com.workday / picof pi: Extract_Employees" >
    < IP: employee >
    < Additional_Information: pi > < pi: pi function: PriorValue = "" > Intern - masteri¿½s < / pi: function >
    < / pi: Additional_Information >
    < / pi: employee >

The same error is according to the above error message.

    Please help in this regard.

    Thank you and best regards,
    Sandrine

You know the code of real character behind "" or you receive the file like that?

For the record, "" is the wildcard of UTF-8 (0xEFBFBD), so that the original character of the means has already been replaced and that very probably the file was not coded properly in the first place.

With respect to the resolution of the problem, try another method to read the file:

    SQL> select value from nls_database_parameters where parameter = 'NLS_CHARACTERSET';

  • How to rebuild iTunes Library.xml file?

My understanding is that the iTunes Library.xml file is used by 3rd party (not iTunes itself) applications to access the metadata on his iTunes library.  I think that my iTunes Library.xml is corrupt.  Two other applications 3rd party who has access to the file produce strange results.   If I quit iTunes, delete the file, then re - start iTunes, iTunes will rebuild the file?  Is there a downside to this?  THX

    pomme4moi wrote:

    Yes.

Is there a downside to this?

N ° this file is rebuilt several times by iTunes, any time something is changed.

When you switch a song, when you finish a song when you change a side, add/remove the work or words or anything, iTunes will rebuild this file.

I get the error 'Implicit coercion of a value of type String to a type unrelated to Array' if I try to plug r.currentItem.value, even when I used an Actionscript function to convert a string to an array of 2 uints. • With respect to the loading of the XML file

    Hello Expert,

I have a question about loading XML using ODI, actually I am new in ODI. I need to load a sample file is given below. While trying to configure the physical connection, it throws an exception that is:

    or

2 SAXException: ODI-40786: prefix not found: {0} xsi (if I select the autonomous agent only).

I need to load the information in tables oracle as the row column data. Let me also know how to generate the DTD XML file to use in ODI.

  • XML file for illustrator

    Hi all

I want to create an XML file to be imported into illustrator.

Of my clients, I get files excel with 1000 + names and membercodes.

In illustrator I is a model for the 24 members.

    I hope someone can help

Here is a tool for her

copy of your data to excellent in the upper part, the data in xml format will be at the bottom, copy this data into an empty text file and save it with an xml extension, your file is ready to be imported into your illustrator file

  • Connection to the external xml file

How to use an external xml file as a data source for my LiveCycle form?

I have a xml file on my server which is updated daily by a script. My LiveCycle form is on the server and can be pushed to the client by the click of a button on a web page or similar. Is it possible to have the LiveCycle form refresh its data before being sent to the client, or every day?

I thought that the burden of form, a JavaScript function could check if the form is on the server, or check if the xml file is there, and if this is the case, update itself, else do nothing.

I prefer to keep the xml file and the distinct shape that other applications and do scripts use xml file.

    Thank you.

    (1) if the form is used internally on the same network (ie: the xml file is still available over the network to your th) form questionable local files, but it requires advanced script.

I did it with network drives shared tho. -If you do, I use the two solution

    (2) assuming you are using LC Reader Extensions as well as the form is "all over", not always on the network starting.

-Expose the XML file through a Web service (if it is not sensitive data)

-Get the form to query the Web service

    (3) but if you have installed with LiveCycle Forms.

Use the readXML and how to bind the XML with the form.

The output, I see I only have access to the firstChild whenever I write the words, but I do not know how to go about it increments to the next block of words.  I guess I can do with a 2D array and iteration, but don't know how to implement.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

  • Create XML file dynamically textInput fields

    Hello

I am very new to Flex and trying to create an application that creates XML files on the computer that is local to the user, based on a users entry in textInput fields.

For the moment I'm having trouble figuring out how to dyamically create a XML file external at all, ideally when the user press a key a browseForSave dialog will open allowing the user to select somewhere on their hard drive to create the XML file.

Can someone give me some advice what I should go in the direction?

    Thank you

You can use a SharedObject for small files, but in general the Flex has no access to the local hard disk.
