How to where I can create a master password?

I read on the master passwords and want to create a way to record safe passwords on different accounts. I can't find on my assus Tablet where to click to access the security settings page.

First of all, it will be in Firefox.

Second, on Android devices with a physical button menu, use the menu key, then settings.

If your device has a physical button menu, look for the icon in menu 3-stacked-points on the right end of the bar address, then settings.

    Sometimes after using the password to access an account during a given session of firefox, I want to "repeal" this ability of automatic access (i.e. require type the password again once) without having to put an end to the current session and restart firefox.

    It's nice to only have to type the password once per session, there are times when after launching an action that I would let the browser unattended for a short period but to prevent others to access sensitive information on other sites if they can't my master password. Note that this is not the same thing as "locking the browser. Currently, the only way I know to force it is to kill the session and restart the browser but it's not very satisfying if I really want to stay connected (allowed) to a particular site. I hope that adding a button in the Security tab "requires the master password for the current session" would be a simple solution to implement? Thank you for your attention.

  • How can I remove master password if I forgot it?

    I'm sure I could just lose all my stored passwords. But it's not good enough. You could certainly a security issue that I could enter or choose from a list) which, if answered correctly would allow me to change it. It just seems to be a little rough to have to lose all one bad hit!

    I'm just suggesting that these fields could be used to include a few tip to help you remember the password. If you choose there password and the indicator carefully, it could be relatively safe. And certainly better than to write the password openly on a post in a newspaper or in a regular computer paper.

    Try just to get rid of the memory of the device and have something like this...

    It is not possible. It must fail information. As you entered the password when you set up first of the machine. Or you have migrated info on starting a backup.
