How will I know if an alert is really Microsoft

I get a security alert windows pop up with Windows web security has detected Trojan horses and ready to remove them. Wants me to run install.exe from 89.248.174.95.

That is absolutely false, and Microsoft does not have those type of alerts on issues.

So if in doubt always come here ask you did this time.

should be treated with and more about detection of malicious code in the next message.
