  There is not a free upgrade for Media Center 2005. If this is something you would like to do, I contact your OEM manufacturer and ask if there is a software upgrade, they can provide you.

  If you have all the updates that are available for your system go to http://update.microsoft.com . Here, you can see all the latest reviews and optional updates that may be available to you and make install.
