How will I know if I'm connected to lte advanced and not ordinary lte.

When I am connected to data, it will say either 3g or lte, but my friend who has a samsung s6 said lte +, I was wondering if I am connected to lte advanced and not ordinary lte.

As far as I know, the LTE icon on the iPhone does not display the plus sign next to it, if the phone uses the advanced version of LTE. In this case, you will need to use an application to measure the speed of connection for more details.

And, of course, LTE advanced must be included in your contract of carriage.

Data plan required. Calls LTE Advanced, LTE, VoLTE and Wi - Fi are available in some markets, as well as some carriers. Speeds are based on the theoretical flow and vary depending on local conditions and the transporter. For more details on the LTE support, contact your carrier and see www.apple.com/iphone/LTE.

  • Pavilion dv7 Notebook - how will I know if I'm connected with the Ethernet cable or wireless?

The notification area icon displays only a wireless connection, although the ethernet cable is connected to the laptop.  HP Connection Manager shows that both wired and wireless connections are active.  All of my previous laptop (not HP) had different icons for wireless to a wired connection in the notification area.  HP has a different icon for a wired connection?  If so, why it doesn't show in the notification area?

Enrico, thank you.  I have installed Win7 Pro.

The Network and Sharing Center says I'm connected wireless.

Program of HP's "Connection Manager" shows that both the wired (ethernet) and wireless networks are connected.

If I am always connected wirelessly with the ethernet cable plugged into my machine, how to move from the wired connection?

Open the network and sharing Center. Look at the picture of what I have posted. Do you see where it says log in or out? Select it, and then disconnect from the wireless network. If you are also connected to the wired connecttion, then the connection should be almost transparent.

  • How will I know what IOS 9.3 is been fixed and ready to download?

    Hello

I was among the lucky ones who has not started the update immediately as soon as it became available.  But now I'm in disagreement as to when the IOS 9.3 will be fixed and safe to download.  Is it a track status page for the 9.3 in trouble anywhere on the apple site?

My phone tells me there's an update available, but I know better than that just by pure luck.

For the life of me I don't remember my original ID and password for iCloud there are long, I appreciate of course Apple release this feature so we brick phones.

You can try to verify via iTunes on your computer. iTunes will give you the possibility to download the new software first and install later.

If you connect your phone and click on "check for updates" and iTunes 9.2.1 is the latest says Apple does not roll on the corrected version of 9.3 for older iDevices.

    Hello

You may have a serious problem that you can't solve yourself.

Click Start > computer > see if D: is the recovery drive and in this case it must be sized anywhere between 5-15GBs about.

If it fits this description, you should contact the manufacturer of your computer, as they placed this hard disk recovery disk.

The recovery disk is placed there only for you to reinstall the operating system if you have a bad system crash recovery disk to reinstall the operating system in the event of total failure of the hard drive.

The recovery disk is cannot be used for these purposes.

The manufacturer will help you fix it.

If this is not the recovery disk please post back.

  • [T510] How will I know if I have switchable or optimus graphics, or not at all?

I got a Lenovo T510 with NVS 3100 M socket. And it seems only comes not with switchable or optimus graphics, which is very sad...

Yet, I asked the person to chat online to check for me and I have optimus, he said.

I don't see Intel HD graphics card in Device Manager nor options for switchable graphics/optimus in the BIOS, I guess I don't have the built-in graphics card.

However, my chip is Intel QM57 of PCH, which has integrated graphics based on knowledge of Intel.

    So I'm confused...

Is it possible that I can check for sure? And if the onboard is just hidden, a way to jailbreak it?

    Thank you very much

How will I know what bit is?

Because they do not have a 64-bit edition family... you have a 32-bit operating system.

To see for yourself, make a right click workstation-> properties, on the general tab, you will see under "system":
    Microsoft Windows XP
    Home Edition
    Version 2002
    Service Pack 3

For a 64-bit version "Windows XP Professional x 64 Edition" appears under System.

  • How will I know if a connection site is secure? In Safari or Explorer, there is an icon lock visual, but not in Firefox. Is there an add-on that meets this need?

How will I know if a connection site is secure? In Safari or Explorer there is a locking visual icon in the web browser window, but not in Firefox. Is there an add-on that meets this need?

The padlock shows only that there is a secure connection and does not guarantee that you are connected to the right server. So you could always be connected to the wrong server if you make a typing mistake in the URL and someone said that mistyped the URL. The lock feature has been replaced by the identity button of the Site on the left end of the address bar (address).

  • How will I know if my Airport Extreme has the latest firmware?  And (not related) how to change the password used to connect to my network?

I think I bought the latest version of Airport Extreme.  It is the unit which is rectangular, is about 6 to 7 w., etc.  I have some basic questions that I do not understand:

    1. How will I know if I have the latest firmware for this device?  I read a few posts that make it sound as if it was just automatically updates.  Is this true?

    2. can someone tell me how to change the password used to connect to my wireless network?

    Thank you very much!

    Chris

If a firmware update is available, AirPort Extreme flashes orange.

The most up-to-date version of the firmware is 7.7.3.

You can see what version you currently have the following on your Mac...

Open Finder > Applications > utilities > AirPort Utility

Click on the image of the AirPort Extreme

    Look for the Version

If the new firmware was available, you will see a button update here

To change the wireless network password...

Click on edit in the window smaller than you watched just to check the firmware version

Click on the Wireless tab at the top of the next window

Go back / change the wireless password and enter a new password

Do the same thing to check

Click Update at the bottom right of the window and give the airport a minute full for restart
