  From what you described, it is possible that the processor, the RAM and the motherboard are all damaged.   If you use only cables HDMI, we managed to stretch the cameras at 15 metres with a quality cable.  If you use HDMI--> externders Twisted Pair, you can get much larger distances (and different Extenders give you differring distances, but are usually around the mark of 50 m for full HD).  We do it with success in a number of our rooms.

  Of course, as is controlled by Ethernet, the usual limit of 100 meters applies to that as a Cat6 cable length "' copper pure, but you can go away with fiber or with additional active equipment if you really must.
