HP 02 ink cartridges using HP Photosmart 3210 series

I have a set of HP 02 series ink cartridge that I bought to use for Photosmart 3210. When I insert one of 02 ink cartridges in the printer, it returns an error message indicating that the printer is configured for the 363 series cartridges.

Can someone help me what to do for 02 cartridges work on my printer?

I'm on Mac OS X 10.6.8

For your printer cartridges are regionalised.  Depending on what country the printer was purchased in the accepted cartridges will be different.  Search for cartridges suitable for your model on the site of HP SureSupply here.

Unless you bought the printer in a country and moved to another country there is no way to change the region of the printer.    Webpage of HP on the subject is here.

    I was invited to replace my Magenta cartridge and got him out a week ago.  Since I replaced the cartridge got ink cartridges empty message each time I print (no matter what).

    Empty ink cartridges

    To print in color, install the following cartridges: Magenta

    To print in black only, click Black only.  To start printing on certain products, press the button on the printer control panel.  The printer will replace the colors with shades of gray.

    To cancel, press Cancel on the printer.

    If the empty ink cartridge is not replaced soon, all printing will be stopped.

    I just click on Black only to print the docs don't stuff.  I give Photo gifts I'm workin on for Christmas.  Like what to do, I'm puzzled.  Do you think I have a bad cartridge or something?  The printer says that my Magenta is full.

    My printer doesn't seem to be under warranty, even if I bought it a few months ago.  In any case, I like it.  I had an older Photosmart model b4 this one and they are excellent for my passion of photography.

    The Site of HP SureSupply lists like the 110 cartridge if you are in the United States.  If you are also the cartridge may be different, check SureSupply Site and make sure that your country is selected in the lower right part of the page.

    Have you checked that the cartridge is properly ventilated? Have you tried running a clean print head?

    If a pipe is clogged, carefully clean with a PIN.
  • Not compatible ink cartridges for HP Photosmart C4795

    I just bought new cartridges for my HP Photosmart C4795 and replaced the 'old' as I did several tims and got this error message. All HP printers, I have owned that it is the first time I got it.

    I found the video on the site to explain how to clean the printer but nothing has worked. If I put the old cartridges back in, I don't get the message, but they are empty and does not "make me a lot of good.

    So what's the problem? Why don't I get the message for the old cartridges but I do it for the new.

    Are there more cleaning who needs.

    Very frustrating,.

    One of the cartridges seems to be defective.  You can find who is at fault by putting the old cartridges in the printer, then install the new one at a time to find cartridges that is causing the error.

    Once you have found the faulty cartrdige I would say giving cartrdige UNPLUGGED plus one contacts only, if that does not solve the problem, and then return the replacement cartridge.

  • Photosmart 7510 - black ink cartridge does not print

    Recently, I replaced the ink cartridges on my Photosmart 7510 C311A. These are all the "genuine HP cartridges ', full.

    Black ink (with the symbol of the Pentagon) does not print, not at all. I ran through the standard troubleshooting steps:

    Cleaning of printheads

    Cleaning of copper contacts

    * Check for a good evacuation

    My colleague in the corridor as the printer even so I borrowed his black ink cartridge and tried: same problem. The printer does not record that there is a problem, but when I run printing tests, where there should be a black ink, there is absolutely none. All other colors print correctly.

    The printer doesn't lack NOT of the printer "align" test however does not offer a suggestion of what to do from there. I've not seen - in test reports - an indiciation of the misalignment.

    Suggestions on what to do now?

    I had the same problem. I had replaced the empty cartridge black and suddenly, no ink. Finally, what has worked is
    (1) I removed all the cartridges and cleaned the copper connectors with wet Publix.
    (2) I got a wet paper towel and he pressed repeatedly on the silver circular vent that would be under the black cartridge. I did until no black came. Let it dry.
    (3) I replaced all the cartridges and on the printer. I went to tools/clean the cartridge. I did it a couple of times and he finally printed black ink! I confirmed by going to tools/align, and align the cartridges successfully. He had kept before crashes when the black ink did not work.

    Hi Rebmark, I did some research and found a troubleshooting page that describes some steps that might solve this problem.

    Step #9 may be the answer you're looking for. When the ink cartridges is not properly connected, it can help try gently bending the cartridge tab try to avoid to bend this tab over a half inch, as it could damage the cartridge.

  • Ink cartridge 5 hp7520: two black cartridges 7520 one full another empty but not printing black

    My black picture is empty (do not know why, do not use photo) the largest on the right side is almost full, but that's the impression not something black.  the colors are very well.   I tried to play with the setting but am at a loss.

    It's just one of those things - you must have all five cartridges to print with that printer.

    Experience:

    The Photo black is not just for the pictures - this type of black is "jet black" and is used for special types of printing needs "black-black" including pictures, graphics and photos.

    Black regular print gray-black, gray, mixtures with other colors and prints some blackish fonts.

    You bought into this concept when you purchased this printer - maybe - not deliberately, but so much.  Additional 'Photo Black' is one of the reasons for this printer is capable of reproducing really excellent color photographic Images.

    The document explains how to use the ordinary black and photo black ink cartridges used in the 7520 Photosmart and printers Photosmart 7525.

    Partial extract:

    The smallest cartridge is the photo cartridge, used for printing of dark areas when the photo paper is selected in the driver, or 'automatic' paper selection is enabled, the media type is detected as photo paper.  It can also be used in some cases when you print graphics on plain paper.  If you are printing on plain paper make sure "plain paper" is selected in the selection of the type of media for the driver.

    Photosmart 7525 may require ink in all colors (including photos and black) to avoid any clogging of printheads.  See here for more information on how the ink is used.  PhotoSmart 7525 is an IIC printer in the terminology of this document.

    I understand that you can not print 4 x 6 photos using your Photosmart 3210. You want to make sure that you change the print settings, within the program you are printing from.

    Please follow this HP document pictures 4 x 6 from a computer printing.

    If this printer is still printing of the 'Hand' plateau, then follow this HP document on when the printer is not Pick Up paper from the Photo Tray.

    Check that paper photo 4 x 6 is placed face down. Also ensured it is pushed as far as the paper can go. He must be touching your rolls of paper.
