  If you're like me and upgraded your iMac that came with a cd/dvd drive internal... so he has to come out to give way to the fusion or the SSD drive, do NOT buy the apple superdrive.  It will work with your computer!

  Ironic, isn't it? Own Apple SuperDrive will not work with Apple computers. Shame you don't check here first that we would have warned you. Return Apple overpriced and buy a nice third-party player for a third of the price. I love the LG units. You can consider a loading plate because they are more reliable, and you can use these pesky disc when you get one.

  Please try and delete preview Cache.

  It is located in the same folder as the catalog in Lightroom. The name of the cache an extract ends with Previews.LRDATA and should be deleted. Not to be confused with *. LRCAT, which should not be deleted

  Default location should folder of the image.

  Following this installation I cannot upgrade to Lightroom 5.4 5.3 Lightroom. I can't not to delete Lightroom 5.3 pour reinstall it.

  During installation, Setup not of found said that it is the file Adobe_Lightroom_x64.msi. There is actually more the directory where this file on my PC. I cannot, nor the update installation or remove the old version of Lightroom and I'm stuck. However the version 5.3 of Lightroom works correctly (for the moment).

  Does anyone know how to fix this or remove completely Lightroom pour redo a full installation of Lightroom.

  All are compatible and should work correctly. I would opt for the SanDisk or Crucial. I failed to transcend everything simply because I know little about the company.

  There is only a single Bay for a SATA 2.5 inch hard disk, which can be replaced by a 2.5 inch SATA SSD, I recommend a Samsung 850 model Evo you can get on amazon.com and other sources.

  The replacement operation is not really easy. You must remove the top cover and a few screws. Post back if you need more help with migration of software, etc.. If you feel that you could do without the DVD player, you can get a basket that allows to put a hard drive instead of the DVD player, but should discuss the advantages and disadvantages of this: I'm not a big fan but a lot of people do and it is not expensive or difficult. You don't want to put a SSD in such a device.

  Pages 41 to 47 see the removal of the door of the service Bay and replace the hard drive. Just install the SSD instead of hard drive. You can remove the disk from the WSSD. It is not useful with a SSD drive. It was only designed to accelerate a regular mechanical drive.

  You can basically do what you describe, but don't forget to format the SSD for Mac OS extended (journaled).

  Personally I format the SSD and then clone the old information from player to another or use Time machine.

  I would add that Samsung Evo 850 SSDs have been problematic for some users.  There has been a number of questions on these forums.  Note that Samsung does not Mac compatibility for the Evo 850 on their Web site.

• Updated to Yosemite with SSD existing and is Trim, Trim on?

  I had a computer running Lion (Mac Powerbook, early 2011) which was a third party (Crucial MX 100, 512 GB) SSD.  I had used Trim Enabler 3.24 to light Trim to it.

  Then I go to Yosemite (my Institute does not allow El Capitan again).  It works very well.  I'm guessing that the filling is always enabled, but I'm not sure.  To complicate, I understand that Trim Enabler 3.42 changed a system driver?  Yosemite allows Trim is activated by a terminal command or by Trim Enabler 3.4 or disc Sensei. using a kext certificate?

  The terminal command probably won't tell me if the trim was already activated?

  Can new programs that allow the filling with the kext certificate check if the Trim is enabled by modifying the system driver?

  Should I worry activation Trim twice spoil something?

  How can I check if the Trim is activated?

  About this Mac > system report > Sata/Sata Express.
