HP 15-n067nr: unknown device device ACPI\HPQ6007\3 &; 2411E6FE &; 0
This pilot is missing after a new installation of Win8.1 on a new SSD.
My research concludes that the HP 3D software player Guard, which protects only the mechanical hard drives.
Am I right in thinking that I didn't need it any longer with an installed SSD now that the system?
And if so, should I simply disable this feature?
All potential conflicts by doing this?
Thank you
Hello:
That is right.
I have install the driver.
I did my notebooks from hp that I installed the SSD into two.
There is no negative impact on the SSD.
The method I used to install the driver was only to use the free 7-zip utility file to extract the driver on his record.
Then I just browsed to the folder of the unknown device driver and installed the base driver.
However, it is to you.
Be sure to disable the device in Device Manager.
This will also not impact negatively on anything whatsoever.

I'm looking for a driver for the unknown device ACPI\HPQ6007 on HP ENVY 15 - j150sr for Windows 8.1 64-bit if I need. I upgraded my laptop - replacement SSD HARD drive. I have found information, ACPI\HPQ6007 is associated with HP 3D DriveGuard, which protects the hard drive by parking the heads. But I SSDS, no HARD drive - what's that on your head?)) I tried to install HP 3D DriveGuard for my laptop model and operating system. It did not help, the unknown device remained ACPI\HPQ6007. I don't know what to do about this.

Hello
Download and install HP 3D DriveGuard on the following link.
http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp63501-64000/sp63786.exe
In regards to your recovery media, if you have already created a game, you can always order a replacement to HP - the cost varies a bit depending on where you live, but they are generally inexpensive. You can order a replacement set of recovery discs from the link below.
If you have a problem with this link, order them directly from HP.
If you live in the United States, contact HP here.
If you are in another part of the world, begin here.

L0D20EA #ABU: unknown device - ACPI\HPQ6007 * HPQ6007
My laptop HP Envy native with Windows 8.1 installed.
After reading this forum, I installed Windows 7 Professional successfully.
A problem I had was that I'm ill ' nt get the driver HP Ethernat to install, I worked around this by using a modem USB wirelles connection and downloaded the Microsoft Ethernet driver, that seems to work in contrast to the driver Ethernet HP.
The other problem I have is that the Device Manager still shows a unknown device, and make a search on the HP site does not solve this problem. The details of the unknown device are as in the area of topic here above.
Device Manager says no driver file is necessary or were shipped on this unit.

Unknown device ACPI/HPQ0004
Hello
I installed the 64 bit, win 7 on my dv8-1190ef, but there is an unknown device (ACPI/HPQ0004).
Please help me solve this problem!
That's the guard HP 3D drive.
This is a slightly different model of dv8, but it will work. I guess HP forgot a list for your specific model number. I couldn't find FRO your support in any case page.
And here's a more recent version
I found this one for a HP Envy, but as mentioned, it will work fine for a dv8, or any other laptop with burner HP hardware 3D of the guard.
